Yes, the beach again. Lol
Well, it's Easter vacation after but actually this is a scrapped sketch for the rooftop piece from a couple weeks ago, from when it was going to be a beach piece at the beginning.
This is more or less what these two looked like in the very first sketch for it but I changed it because it didn't work with the perspective and space but I liked this posing for these two too much to let it go to waste.
I especially loved Zara with her face giving the camera one of those silly bird angles.
So like with Lil’s piece before this I decided to finish it anyway and have been working on it between doing pages for the comic that, by the way, do you remember I said the next batch would be the final one? Turns out I lied again.
I should get an editor.
But a good thing is that the next update will come sooner because of that.
So in the meantime here's Zara and RJ enjoying some quality time at the beach, let's say from an earlier trip, maybe the Band on the Run one so that the band staying at home this summer stays Canon lmao.
Funny thing is that this isn't even the last Rooftop related piece I'll be posting, but don't worry, the next one isn't at the beach lol.

And with Zara in a rather similar pose and angle to Tak's pinup pic, albeit with RJ having the opposite POV than (presumably) Tony in that one. :D In the spirit of tying it into the summer beach series, maybe it takes place right after the hotel escape and they're both having a good laugh about it, and before the squirt gun incident the next morning...and the intervening night they're in the tent celebrating their narrow escape from the law with the whole band noting they're "at it again." *shot* X3
