No, you weren't crazy. It had been in fact a good while since the last spooky post. Was it because the real world has gotten so spooky that it's hard to come up with something scarier? Or is it just that I haven't come up with a good idea that I liked? 

Well, yeah, the second one but also I've been pretty busy, and a bit sleepy. 

I don't think I've mentioned before but since I came up with the three original Whisperers, I’ve clearly seen Nicole as the brain of the group and Vero is obviously the muscle. And I think that's not hard to see but what I haven been clear enough in the past is that Ignacio is the heart.

Nicole is who you need when you have a supernatural problem that must be solved with wit and her knowledge of the occult, and if that doesn't work Vero can always brute force our way out of it. But when none of that works, Ignacio is, and sometimes maybe much to his dismay, who you want when you need to meet your problem face to face. And maybe to emphasize with him.

To see something of him in himself and maybe to realize how similar their backgrounds are, maybe they both come from an abusive home but while one got lucky and managed to turn his situation for the better the other wasn't so lucky. And to maybe find a way to reach out somehow and through that give the support to the poor kid to eventually, finally move on. Maybe do that a bit for both.

I clearly have this artistic obsession with making unclear where up and down are. The framing in this piece makes it look easier by having the character's gravity match the one of the camera, but what if I told you through the window you are seeing a genital view of the sky.

This piece may look a bit rougher than usual and that's because it was not only done completely on Procreate, but I also wanted to experiment a bit with techniques and brushes for this one. Just a little bit. You may notice that this one looks a bit more lineless than usual.
