Persiana Americana + Sketches (NSFW)

Ok check this out, I came up with new guys.

Long story short, she knows he's there looking, and he knows she knows it. But they both like to pretend that's not true. 

The horse girl isn't exactly a new character, I had drawn her before but I decided to bring her back for one reason. 

An old picture featuring her also featured a fan in the background and the song mentions a fan. 

That's basically it. 

As for him I decided to make him a goat due to goats insane ability to climb, which I guess you do a lot when this is your “hobby”

It's not exactly rare for me but you may have noticed I haven't named them and there's a reason for that. 

I think they both don't really know each other's names. And in order to maintain the kayfabe I also think they don't wanna know. 

On their future, I'm not sure if these “meetings” are how their “love” starts, maybe it's a slow burn as they get closer and closer each day until finally he comes in or if this is just an interest they both share and that's it just some guys who fool around through a window and they never go beyond that because they don't have to but become friends. I haven't decided. I don't really know if I'll draw them again.

But for the moment I had fun thinking about their current moment. I even, as you may have noticed, I made a couple of sketches developing their “relationship”, picturing some occasional moments where they drop the Kayfabe and acknowledge each other.

I kind of really liked the idea of them bonding further through the topic of aliens because it implies a theme of looking for them watching the stars, but also the idea of our world and even ourselves being watched by them. And if there's a thing we know about these two is that they love watching and being watched.

So this one started as a quick sketchy thing as most things do but it got me thinking about a song from the argentinian rock band Soda Stereo 

“Persiana Americana” or Persian Blind. In the song a voyeurist man watches through a window as an exhibitionist woman undresses for him. 

So, while not a full on adaptation, like, in the song the woman undresses while here she’s coming out of a shower, I ended up with these characters that live similar songs to the song.
