Zara's family is coming over for dinner so she and her dad are helping her mother and her aunt in the kitchen, and taking the time to catch up with each other. So it's just a matter of time before Zara is asked for something a bit too personal.

Hence the alt versions here. Tho, more than alternative from each other I think they work more as a sequence. Yet I still plan on posting them randomly through my accounts.

I'm not completely sure what she asked but I have my theories. I'm just not sure about giving a definitive dialogue to the scene. I feel like leaving that one to the imagination. Besides, that way I could play a "Caption This" game, even though I'm sure no one would play it. But I can spoil it if you want.

Here I took the Christmas imagery with a bit of a minimalist approach as people don't often decorate their kitchens. They often focus on their living rooms and exteriors. So the only traditional Christmas imagery here is Ivan's shirt featuring a doodle of a Christmas tree.

This would be the first piece where Zara's parents appear in the foreground and I think I've never formally presented them so here it is.

Ivan is an accountant and Lourdes works as a secretary. They met in college and got married shortly after graduation. After years trying they couldn't conceive and decided to adopt a baby and here they are. A happy family.

They're really supportive of Zara, sometimes, as you can see, to the point where it can get awkward.
