I wanted to make a Dia de Muertos Piece this year but in the end I didn’t have the time. In fact I started one with the Whisperers but didn’t get to finish. I’m including the Wip here.
But I had some free time and I decided to do something quick. It’s a bit inspired by an old animated short I was working on with some friends before Covid forced us to stop. It was the adventures of a young recently deceased woman trying to navigate the city to get to her family’s home before Dia de Muertos was over. And this one is slightly based on that idea, this one would be the way back to Mictlan, carrying the gifts from the ofrenda.
I’m gonna be making this one public today but only here you can see the full version as well as the unglazed one. Also, don't worry. I have something a little bit related that I wanna be posting soon.
The Wip piece is about the whisperers going to a graveyard after hearing rumors of music coming out from them and discovering a party. I wanna finish that one but I guess I have a year to do so.
