To my surprise, I've finally managed to rediscover the few Night Elf fans out there who still follow me, many of whom have been following me since the OG Tumblr days. That's a very long time to go without actual NE content from me, which is pretty sad, but I appreciate that they've been following me all this time for the "full package" of everything that I do with various races, not just NE. Thank you.

So that raises the question, NE when? Well as I've probably said before, I actually do have access to an NE model that is theoretically of the same quality as the newer Orc, Zandalari, moo, goat, etc. models that I use.

The only problem is that I've never properly finished his morphs yet. Considering how utterly fucked up the actual model is (them hips my god), it's been very tricky for me to decide on a set of morphs that look sexy and appealing, but also not overwhelmingly different from the "official" look that it becomes a chintzy looking Frankenstein's OC of an NE.

So until I can get his morphs where I want them, Mr. NE's not going to be making a fully blown (no pun intended) public appearance any time soon. You would think that after all of these years of experience with morphing these models that it would be trivial with the NE, but it's not. It's easily the most difficult morph job to date. Maybe it's cuz I love NE so much and I absolutely require them to be perfect to my personal standards before showing them off.

Until then, I've actually been doing a lot of experimenting with substituting Zandalari for Night Elves in potential remakes of older projects which featured NE. They are roughly the same in proportions (though Zandalari are naturally meatier), which makes substitutions a possibility, though obviously nothing would compare to having an actual NE there.

Last month's q20 - snack detected ushered in the surprise return of a Dwarf, specifically Siggy. I am not a big fan of Dwarves, but Siggy is and I know a lot of my fans enjoy Dwarves too, so I think they're definitely a candidate for a model upgrade  (which would make them much more conducive for projects in general). I think I'll be doing a Dwarf vs. Troll (and vs. NE?) poll for fun this month to see where the demand truly lies. 😈

Siggy (the Dwarf) is also sometimes depicted as intersex by myself or Siggy (the Artist). I think I will also poll to see if you guys are interested in more intersex characters. Though because of logistical challenges, I can only depict intersex characters with what I like to call the "bush of mystery" over them having accurate intersex genitalia, at least for now. Or through the power of implication if you know what I mean.

There's currently a pretty decent variety of ideas on the Trello board, including many new ones featuring Zandalari. But I think for once I'm actually running short on higher quality ideas involving moos, so they'll be a focus for experimentation this month.
