-so i actually have a weird issue with trying to get this to run- i have a 3440 display and the game scaled fine before i installed makis demaster and these packs but ever since then they stretch to fit the full screen and seem locked to 1280p or so 😭 i’ve spent like an hour trying to fix it- does anybody know a remedy i’m missing? have used system scaling and the default ff8 options to no avail

Hey @raleigh.saige did you manage to use these files via Tonberry, or FFNx? I've managed to get the Remastered AngelWing backgrounds working on the 2013 version via FFNx (adding the files to the right folders and launching via Junction-VIII), but the same isn't true for the Battlefieldpack files no matter what I did. I used Imagemagick to batch convert all DDS files to PNG, and then I whipped up a bash script to collate them into FFNx format. Although everything I can see tells me at least some of the files should work, they just don't and the game defaults to its source files. The only difference I can discern is that the files I created through this process are 2-3x bigger in filesize than the Battlefieldpack 3.1 for FFNx files another modder created here: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1ZC66EywzgYIMAP_BWFCIgk2bJKNpaYpe/view

So on the description MCIndus says this won't work with the other versions other than the remaster, however the dds file can be converted into PNG and manually put into the texture folders for Tonberry. There are way too many files to convert and put in the right place, hopefully MCIndus uploads a png version like he did with AngelWing

What did you do to make it works on 2013 version ?

I'm actually using this with the 2013 pc release and as far as I'm aware, its working correctly. Granted I'm only a few hours in, but I've compared these new textures between both versions of the game and they are definitely working with the 2013 version. YMMV though. I definitely recommend testing it out for yourself. Super impressed with this release!

This is so awesome, we have waited so long to reap the fruits of your work! And it is so worth it. My only question is, any love for the 2013 version? I prefer playing the OG honestly
