Hello everyone,
This month, I've been working on laying the foundation for the next step in Elvenfoundry's development. In this version (0.3.xxx), I’m introducing custom-voiced scenes featuring the human-like characters of Elvenfoundry.
For this first update, I’ve added a small scene that serves as an intro tutorial for the game. It includes the first tests with voiced characters, Mia (the mechanic girl) will introduce the game, and there will be a test scene with a clone girl.
Mia is voiced by @Ivy_WildeVA, as you’ll hear in this update.
I’ve also removed the old tutorial windows, as I’ll be implementing the final tutorial system moving forward. You can see the first tutorial (crouching) in the intro scene as a test, with more tutorials coming in future patches. I know the game—especially the factory section—can be a bit confusing at first. That’s why I’m adding tutorials in this version, including voiced tips from Mia over the radio.
This update took a bit longer than usual since I was developing essential features for future updates in version 0.3. However, I’ll now return to a more frequent update schedule.
Additionally, a bug that prevented setting recipes on Somenithreaders and Bootyslappers has been fixed.
