I wouldn't say Vagus acting to save innocent lives is a slim possibility. Solon had stated he knew all along Vagus had that Laconian spirit in him (which includes his altruism to protect others) and had set up a situation that guarantees that Vagus would act upon that instinct. But you're right, it was a really scummy move on his part to put ST's life in danger. And I wouldnt be surprised that he has done that to countless folks before (given what he had said to Leon about burning down villages to save cities..)

His father hugely damaged his mind and the reputation of Laconian fighters, but it's not who you are, rather, it is what you DO (especially given such a prestigious title) that shows who you are. Vagus may go on to redeem and cleanse the sins of the Laconians because of his mentality and what he does. 💙 While his father (and arguably his mother too) are trained killers/conquerors and don't deviate much further than that.
