2025-12-06 20:33:10 +0000 UTCI'm not sure yet if the Stat system will return. I felt it was a bit โforced,โ just there to add some kind of gameplay. For now, I decided to leave it out, but Iโm thinking about a new system based on affection, with a shop to buy gifts that increase affection, or maybe dialogue options to interact more with the characters. Thatโs a cool idea, but adding a job system like that would take quite a bit of work to make it feel like a proper minigame rather than just a simple โclick to work / earn moneyโ thing. Iโd prefer to avoid something too repetitive unless it adds real gameplay value. Those are really good ideas! Maybe Buddy could ignore the player at first, but after being adopted by a jerk she starts to reconsider โ then the player could โbuy her backโ or earn her trust again. That would actually make for a pretty interesting route. Thanks a lot for the suggestions! Iโve already fixed the translation bugs too. Really appreciate the feedback.

2025-11-07 12:10:25 +0000 UTCIs the Stat system coming back in the next version? I assume the way you get currency from the bed (which isn't translated btw) is just to show off the adoption/Bella. This version made me think that another job, one working at the burger place might be a good idea. Profits could scale with your endurance/position. Could have it max out at Assistant Manager and then through progressing with Maggie make it to Manager (which I assume she is?) It could vary on something similar to the Affection/Submissive route on whether she either let's you have it out of kindness or submission to the player. Just brainstorming on that front really. If Max wasn't a one-off it would definitely be an interesting choice to adopt him as an "end-game" option for Bella and the player to be a family. Though tbh it would also be neat if when the player asks about the adoption they mean everyone in a neutral light first before meeting Bella. So like instead of "pay 200 to adopt" it's "See who's available for adoption. That way the player could adopt him while maxed with another character. Buddy would be cool as a romance, though I don't quite know how it would work. Perhaps she either gets adopted by a jerk and starts hanging around somewhere, or the player has to work to get her to like him?
