Mid-August Progress update

I'm finally finished with this damn swim meet chapter. The pool was honestly a challenging environment to work with. I particularly think the lighting in the poolside area is sub-par, but alas, I tried my best.
It will feel good to have a change of scenery in my workflow. Looking at the same walls and cast of characters for the past month and a half was starting to get to me. Almost as if it gave the illusion of no progress.
Anyway, speaking of progress, here are the Episode 2 numbers so far:
16,926 words
617 still renders
38 animations with a total duration of 352.9 seconds (or about 5 minutes, 53 seconds)
2 lewd scenes UwU
Now I can finally move on, there will be a few less complicated chapters. i.e. easier to plan out and more importantly; fewer animations. The amount of animations in a chapter is obviously directly proportional to how long it takes me to make. What I'm trying to imply is; development may speed up until I hit another animation roadblock (typically a sex scene).
I also have big news regarding the release of episode 2. But I'm gonna save that for whenever the next public update will be.
Hopefully what I've put in the episode so far has been sufficient in helping you get to know another character. Those girls you met in episode 1 aren't the only loveable characters I want you to spend time with. This swim meet is, in my opinion, a strong introduction to another character. You'll really get a sense of her personality alongside her character dynamic with the MC. Anyway, Episode 2 is a lot of this. Slice of Life stuff. There'll be plot, of course. But I need to introduce and build these characters. I hope you enjoy what I'm cooking up.
