With only a reasonable delay, I present to you the (for now) finished version Of the Solitude Plaza system. And we got a few new and important features.
First of:
One Problem I saw with the last version was that getting shackled at the plaza always meant certain death without any way to escape. which made the entire system kinda boring from a gameplay perspective. So I scripted a new Scene in which the player is getting rescued by a "mysterious" savior. The chance for this rescue can be configured in the MCM.
I´ve also added functionality to most of the Overseers dialogues, which now allows you to bail out your captured followers. Also with a very small scene.
And Lastly, I want to extend my special thanks to Flyingleaf for his quick and thorough testing, aswell as his helpfull suggestions. His input saved all of us quite a bit of time and brain cells.
About the PA outcomes:
As promised, the Actual PA outcomes have now been implemented. The Discord suggested to make this a bit more universal, So I´ve implemented the two new Events "March to Solitude" and "Capital punishment" to ALL cities, not just Solitude itself. This means that convicts can be brought to solitude from all over skyrim. This transfer also got a little walking scene (skipable) which will have different Dialogues and Actors to properly reflect the origin of the March. And just to clarify, the two Outcomes I named above are functionally identical, but one is a punishment-type event and the other is a release-type Event. This gives you more options to decide on how you want to play.
The Scene has also been set up to act as a hook for OBH and really any other mod in general. This means that Getting brought to the Solitude Plaza after getting caught By the Orkish Bounty Hunters can now easily be implemented as an additional outcome for OBH.
It can also be triggered manually via the Button and works in the same player/follower/player-follower/follower-follower configuration as all the other buttons or pullchains.
Where does this Leave us?
I think this leaves us with a reasonably well rounded and fun addition to the overal Prison gameplay mechanics. And with the player rescue option , I feel comfortable enough to leave it in this state for a while.
Next step on the Agenda is the two-point gallow which won across all platforms with a comfortable lead. And after that we will hopefully be able to proceed with the remaining scenes for Solitude or return to OBH.
