Waiting in Line

Its been a while, but we are getting close to the next release. I just wanted to bring you up to speed again regarding what exactly I´ve been up to and what you can expect.

As you might remember, we wanted to give Solitude some Love and finally add some public NPC executions for the player to gawk at and give the city a bit of an atmosphere. To that End, I´ve added a few wall shackles to the back of Solitudes Plaza which can hold up to three convicts.
While it is possible for the player to end up there as well via one of the PA outcomes, this "queue" is primarily intended for NPC´s and will automatically be re-filled while the player is out of town. 

I´ve already eluded to this in the Last post, but there are multiple sources for potential volunteers here. One of them being left behind followers in PA-jails, but there are other options I´ll be implementing in the first release.
Among them are NPC´s with a high relationship rank with the player or potential followers. The logic here being that they can be suspected to be co-conspirators in the players crimes if he is running around with a high bounty. And subsequently they will be apprehended and sentenced in the players absence and brought to solitude. This will of course be MCM toggleable and named NPC´s will only get killed if the player is actually in the city and had a chance to rescue them.
Another obvious choice are generic bandits which can be used to fill the queue. If I can figure it out, I can even try to integrate SL defeat to allow captured NPC´s to be delivered.

But no matter who is actually waiting in Line, As long as there are convicts available, I wanted to have regular public events on the plaza (every 1-2 days) where some or all of the currently available targets are dealt with. Player will get no special treatment here if he is one of them.

The Device used will also change every now and then. currently I´m planning on using the Block, the Wayrest, and Gallows, but I´ll see if I can get some of the other devices to work there as well.


There has been a lot of stuff going on in my life and workplace which has taken some time and prevented me from giving this Project here as much attention as I wanted to, but things have calmed down now and I exspect the pace to pick up again. 

First version with the majority of planned features will be available during the coming week.
