After spending way to much time on trying to work the previously shown inverted-suspension animation into a scene, I gave up and did the one thing I don't like:
Firing up blender and make some animations myself.
But the Results are in fact better than expected. As you can see above, efforts were focused on a drowning scene. you´ll get 2 phases of increasingly desperate struggle, as well as a dying animation which smoothly transitions into the dead-animation.
I replaced the suspender in favor of a pole. this makes it easier to find suitable places where scenes can play out. I´ve already done some scouting and found suitable places in each Hold, so this event will be available everywhere.
The Event will feature multiple outcomes, similar to the Riften Guillotine Scene. which means its possible for you and/or your Follower to survive this.
It will also have a persistent corpse mechanic for executed followers/NPC´s
