Status update 10.01.2022

Just a quick update on the current state of affairs.

Aside from some minor cosmetic issues (namely head-tracking), the new devices are coming along smoothly. 

I switched over from using Actual furnitures to using activators, which eliminated a few of the limitations usually associated with furnitures.
This means no more Misalignment, the ability to toggle animation-styles via MCM or based on other conditions, and no more reliance an skyrim-pathfinding to actually reach those things. A prototype version will likely be ready at the beginning of the next week.

Besides that, I´ve found a potential volunteer to design a few new objects for my purposes. Not sure how reliable this will be, but it might yield a few interesting new devices for a potential "Reverse Defeat" mod I´ve been thinking about for a while. something that allows the Player to do some nasty stuff with Defeated NPC´s.

I´ve also been thinking about adding a standalone placement feature to deadly furnitures. Something like the thing found in Zaxtons positioner or the campfire mod.
But this will likely be a larger endeavor, therefore ill wait with that until the current device is working properly.

This entire Thing is really not more than an Idea right now, so its way too early to think about details. Originally, i was thinking about a knockdown mechanic similar to SL Defeat (maybe even with compatibility), but we´ll cross that bridge when we get there.

for the "reverse defeat mod", maybe why not the ability to "mark" a target for the mod and if you beat said target it will automaticly surrender, you can execute him with a deadly device that would spawn just for the occasion and then disappear? Currently enjoying your mod so far, made the threat of prison much more dangerous on the two current city with bad end!
