My very first trip into the city of Napa Valley was exciting. It was Rianna, May, and me. I made them stop at Wells Fargo Bank. I had bills to pay, and I was way behind on them. Rianna and May went with me.

I went to the teller and checked my balances for my checking and savings accounts. My Savings account said $7,505,632.43. I studied it in disbelief for about 10 seconds.

Ma'am! Are you sure you have the correct account?

Yes, ma'am, that's the correct account! Lana Ailani Simmons, that is your name, Correct?

Yes ma'am! But the amount? Was there a recent deposit?

Yes, Ms Simmons, this morning! From the United States Justice Department for 7.5 million dollars.

Could you please print a statement for me?

Certainly!

I had the teller transfer 25 thousand dollars into my checking account and took two thousand dollars in cash. I decided to ask Rianna about this.

Rianna and I were done first, May was busy with a teller.

Ree, did you forget to tell me something? I asked.

Why do I have 7.5 million dollars in my savings account?

Ohh!! That! You remember when I had you file the lawsuit after your grand jury testimony and statement to the police?

Yes! Of course.

Well, I might have talked to a friend of mine at the DOJ and Amy and convinced them that your information and testimony should be considered the same as an informant's reward. Informants get 15% of assets seized by law enforcement!

They seized over 50 million dollars in assets! Your cut is 7.5 million dollars. But there's a catch!

What catch? I asked.

You owe me 32,000 dollars! Rianna said or 25%!

$32,000 it is! Do you want a money order now?

Yes please! Rianna smiled.

We giggled

We got in line and I bought a money order for 7 dollars and paid Rianna on the spot. To this very day, it was the best 32,007 dollars I ever spent.

The town was like a mini Beverly Hills, with lots of high-end shops and markets. Our first stop was at the far edge of town, Betty's Boutique!

The store itself looked like every other store from the outside, but the additional cars parked out front said upscale. Every car or SUV was a Cadillac, Audi, Mercedes, or another kind of car that most people only dream about.

A girl at the front desk was a beautiful Latina girl with a bright smile. Her name tag said Sabrina.

Welcome to Betty's Boutique! How can I help you?

Is Betty around? I'd like to have my friend fitted for a couple of bras! Rianna asked.

May I ask who's asking?

Rianna Stevens-Park! She did my fitting for my wedding.

Just a moment please. Sabrina picked up the phone. Ms Betty, you have a fitting request.

Yes ma'am! Thank you.

She's on her way! Sabrina said.

Thank you! Rianna said.

Betty was a tiny woman, about May's size, age, and stature. She was a beautiful woman with salt and pepper hair cut in a long wedge bob. She looked younger than she was. As soon as she saw May and Rianna her face lit up like she was greeting a family member.

Ree!! May!! Betty exclaimed.

Hi Betty! May said as they hugged.

Rianna! You look great! Betty said.

So do you Betty! Rianna, smiled and hugged her.

Who is this vision of beauty? Betty asked.

This is my adopted granddaughter, Lana! May said.

I was surprised at the statement and smiled with pride.

Betty took me into the changing room area.

I took off my white blouse and my padded white sports bra.

Okay.... I said reluctantly. I took off my pink denim mini-skirt.

Ohh! I see! Betty said with mild surprise.

I blushed.

Don't be embarrassed, Lana. Being in transition is nothing to be ashamed of! Betty said.

The next thing I tried was the Bra tops. All of them are denim, in blue, light blue and pink.

Up next was the corset dresses. Dark blue denim and Hot pink denim.

Rianna handed me a black leather corset dress. I looked very sexy in it.

You have to send Charlie a picture! Rianna said.

I made a couple sexy poses and sent a text. I miss you! Beneath it.

Next up was a red Latex corset.

This is latex! I exclaimed.

Sorry, I'm out of the red leather. Betty said. But for you I'll give you the leather price. Betty said.

The grand finale! Rianna said. My treat! Rianna handed me a black latex French maid corset uniform.

This thing was short! It didn't even cover my ass entirely!

You're going to need these! She handed me a black garter belt and black seamed stockings.

I put on the maids uniform and Rianna took pictures again and sent them to Charlie.

Rianna typed "Maid Lana at your service!"

I blushed. I can't believe you typed that! I exclaimed!

You can thank me later! Rianna said. Trust me! Charlie will love it!

I wore the pink corset dress out of the store.

I spent almost three thousand dollars in one store! My entire wardrobe I bought for myself didn't add up half of that. Thank goodness I wore my wedge sandals today. Our next stop was lunch at this fancy restaurant and bar.

I got a kobi burger, $35 for a burger and fries. It was a great burger. We went into this small gourmet grocery store. They had every spice and seasoning you can imagine. I bought several Hawaiian spices I couldn't find anywhere else. I took a brochure so I could order more.

Our next stop was this fancy spa. The three of us got Mani/pedi's together.

We finally made it to Walmart. I bought enough of everything to make four racks of ribs. I counted on Hank wanting leftovers.

May was shopping for groceries for the house. Her cart was overflowing. I snuck my check card into the machine before she could. My treat! I said. It's the least I could do!

Lana! You don't have to do that! May said.

I know! I wanted to! I can afford it!

Lana, a young woman needs to be able to take care of herself! May said.

I can afford it! Trust me! I said.

May! Trust me! Lana can afford it! Rianna said.

May kissed my cheek in the checkout aisle.

May did Korean dinner tonight. I got back in my dress. I did my makeup the way May showed me with the glamorous meets cat eye eyeliner. I did my lips in soft pink. When I was ready. The three of us walked downstairs in formation again.

Just like before Hank and John stood up and pulled out our chairs. This was my second to last family dinner for a while, I treasured every second of it. I also had two glasses of wine with dinner. The next morning I enjoyed another glorious sunrise with my coffee.

May, Rianna and I enjoyed the fresh crisp morning air. When Rianna kissed John on the porch it made me more anxious to get home to Charlie. I was just glad I would be able to attend his last regular-season game. I had to reschedule my classes for the spring semester. I was a full semester behind in school now. After breakfast I walked outside with Rianna and John.

John showed me six different moves that were easy to do that blended in with everything May taught me. I spared with Rianna. She was really good. I was able to land 3 strikes out of about a hundred.

When I spared with John, he blocked everything with ease. He was so fast it was scary. It was a relaxing day. When we went back into the house, the entire house smelled like my ribs baking in the oven.

John and Hank split a big rack of ribs. May, Rianna and I ate 3/4 of one rack. Hank wrapped up the leftovers. The guys praised me for the ribs.

I was at the airport at 10 on Sunday morning.. my stuff filled most of the back of Hanks truck. My last ride on US Marshalls Lear Jet. We flew into the Naval Weapons station again and an hour later I was home.

No welcome home party this time. Charlie was waiting for me by himself. When we kissed it felt better than any welcome home party. We unloaded the car and Charlie took me to my new apartment on the 3rd floor. I knew they moved me, but I didn't get the chance to see it. It was big! 3 bedroom two bathrooms. The master bedroom had its own bathroom with a Jacuzzi tub.

We finally got my things put away. We sat down to relax for a minute. Charlie put his hand on my leg. I really missed you! He said.

When the door closed I was completely alone for the first time in a few months. It almost felt scary. I put on my makeup and my uniform and went to the office to see Chloe. I tied my hair in a high ponytail, my hair was long! I haven't had anything done with it for months. I made a mental note to make an appointment with Bunny.

Lana! Chloe exclaimed. I missed you sweetheart! You look great! She said

It's great being home, I missed you too! I'm ready to go back to work! I said.

Where should I start? I asked.

We have twenty apartments that need actual repairs. I'll take care of the garbage and outside for now. I need you to apply your magic to these places. They are listed as a priority. The highlighted ones we have permission to enter if they aren't home. Check in with me at lunch time. We need to catch up.

I'm on it! I said. It felt great to be needed again. I started in the first place, no one was home. A slow draining kitchen sink. The next place had a toilet that took 3 or more flushings to get things down. I was able to fix or make things better until I had the parts. I had two pages of apartments to fix and my list of parts was growing fast.

By the time lunch came I had six apartments fixed to some degree and I needed to return to three of them with parts to complete the repairs.

I changed my blouse for lunch and grabbed a fresh uniform blouse for the afternoon. I walked into Chloe's office and she smiled brightly.

Dang girl! You're more shapely than ever! You really look great!

14 weeks of exercise and martial arts training had it's effect! I said.

It shows! You look great on top too! Chloe said.

I guess my hormones are kicking in pretty well now. I said.

Chloe told me about how the company she hired wasn't as detail oriented as I was. She said the residents missed me because I was friendly and didn't make them wait. Matt Elgin called a couple times and wanted to know how I was doing.

I'm going to Charlie's last football game on Saturday! I'm very excited.
