Considering Slowing Down

Once I'm done with this last batch of commissions I think I'mma take a step back from constant content creation. not only is school getting in the way more and more but idk man, I just feel like needing to create so much art in such a short timeframe has lowkey stunted me

i cant really take my time with art anymore, I need to focus on getting it out the door ASAP, and that just doesnt let me experiment or innovate w/ technique very much

so im kind of just stagnating, skill-wise, since im just falling back into the same old bad habits

i've drawn a LOT this year. more than the past two years combined, i think? but my skills have barely increased in that time and it's lowkey embarrassing

i need to focus on FEWER pieces with MORE effort put into them if im gonna grow

All this is to say I might be bumping uploads down to 1 per week, and putting commissions on hold.

At least until I feel like I'm in a better place artistically!
