Added 2024-02-09 17:23:40 +0000 UTCSorry for the lack of updates recently, I'm really busy at work and I'm unable to draw as much as I would like to.
However, during working I'm preparing a project that focus on story, world building and characters, it will be a horror manga that inspired by east asian folklore, ito junji and more. The story would mostly takes place in a high school that located in a fictitious island.
Here's the early concept art for the school girl uniform, it combines Chinese Ming dynasty aesthetic with modern Japanese school uniform, my idea is to mix the aesthetic from two different cultures and different periods, and creates an uncanny feeling (but still pleasing to the eye).
For the next update I'll work on the male student uniform, and school building design, and most importantly, the horror elements.
