Nick, I enjoyed everything you had to say, not bored in the least! I always do enjoy your personal musings and perspectives; after all, that's what we're here for, "your" reactions.😉 You really put a lot of thought and effort into giving us your reactions, more so than some reactors I've watched. It's much appreciated!☺️ On the surface, comic books may seem juvenile, simplistic "literature" to someone who has never picked one up and read it. However, just as the girls discovered, once you get into them you realize how topical and thought-provoking most of them are! They can be the catalyst for intelligent discussion & debate. Personally, I can't think of much of any hobby carried over from childhood that would be inherently childish, in and of itself. I think what determines whether a hobby is "childish", immature for each person would be whether or not that hobby is interfering with their life.. job, relationship, finances, their health. What makes one person's love of comics or cosplay "childish", yet another's love of building model planes or having a model train set up with townspeople, tiny buildings, etc. is deemed just another adult hobby? What makes collecting superhero action figures or other sci-fi collectibles "childish", but collecting figurines, dolls, collectors plates is not? It's all about the place you give your hobby in your priorities, right?! At least, that's my perspective.😉

2025-07-01 20:51:09 +0000 UTCI was curious, so I looked it up and there are companies that Will make personalized action figures; you send in photographs, the clearer the closer up of your face, the better. Results vary depending on company and the quality of your photo. Who knew?!😄😉 I also saw that various places have action figures of the whole "Big Bang Theory" gang; they actually looked pretty accurate.👍
