Backtracking to some earlier ventures in remote photography, here’s a short teaser video clip from my shoot with Makayla in Turks and Caicos.
Makayla uses the tethered camera approach for her sessions typically. I hadn’t used it yet, so we decided to use her phone and FaceTime for this occasion.

In my last discussion on virtual shooting I talked about models using a digital camera tethered to software where the photographer has control of the camera from his or her computer in a location remote from the model’s camera/computer setup.
Whereas this method produces the same image files as if the shoot were done in person, there are physical constraints on locations due to the model having to be in proximity to internet and power source.
