Re: "who thinks of that?"
I think at this point in modern history, the word "diary" is often associated with Anne Frank.
But maybe that's just what I've been taught my entire life.

Based on the entire context, how did you NOT know there was a wedding ceremony happening? lol

It really grinds my gears that she's apologizing for the firefighter thing when we spent how many seasons now watching Phil moon over other women, especially Gloria

3 babies, and we did not "Ferberize." Each one was unique in how they liked to go to bed. Our son, totally easy, just lay him down. Our 2 girls, though... they required "routines." Baths, walk around the yard, cuddling, etc. We just didn't think "crying until they are worn out" was the way to go.

As a parent of two (now teenage) boys and a Registered Nurse of 20 years with the first 3rd done in pediatrics/ pediatric ICU, the Ferber method is not specifically endorsed but there is some recommendations for sleep training. Just remember each child is different and has different needs and one method it’s not recommended for every child. 🥰

the Ferber method (invented by Dr. Richard Ferber) has been veryyyyyy controversial from its inception. it relies on the baby crying until they exhaust themselves into sleep, which is very detrimental to the formation of secure attachment. fans of the show have heavily criticized Mitchell’s use of it, but i think this episode really establishes the stark difference between his and Cameron’s parenting philosophies over the next 10 seasons of raising Lily😁. lots more hilarious Lily-related situations to come!
