Both Penny and Leonard still have romantic feelings for each other at the time of him getting with Priya. If Priya wasn't there and Penny said "I want you back," Leonard would jump at the chance. To me, that's not an "innocent" friendship. Neither has to ACT on the feelings for it to be disrespectful to the new relationship.

2025-02-02 02:22:05 +0000 UTCTrue penny is jealous of them because she still in love with leonard it’s normal to be jealous yet she doesn’t do anything about it to make them break up and she respected the distance between them when Leonard told her that. even when Amy and Bernadette were trying to be against priya , penny stopped them and said be cool , as long as she doesn’t do anything wrong about it she still innocent and good friend, and BTW im not big fan of penny but here in this season im with her because she does nothing wrong to priya and Leonard she keeps her jealousy to herself and i respect that.

Why is everybody acting like Leonard and Penny didn't just sleep together not that long ago when she hadn't told her dad that they were broken up, or that Leonard would have gotten back together with Penny with the snap of a finger from her all the way up to the point where he and Priya became official

Also, Leonard would have gotten back with Penny in a heartbeat and slept with her not all that long before him and Priya became official so in that regard, she is totally valid. Pestering him about the contacts was selfish and manipulative.

2025-01-30 12:19:04 +0000 UTCGood to know im not the only one who can’t stand priya, season 4 is my least favourite season just because of her i really can’t stand any person wither man or woman who doesn’t except their partner for what they are especially with things that don't hurt anyone it’s really annoying for me, and the only one thing i don’t like about leonard that he always trying to change something about himself when he has a girlfriend, if your partner doesn’t except you for who you are and don’t trust you with anyone , then you’re with the wrong person and they don’t deserve your time, jealousy in relationships is normal and i can understand it but to do something about it and ruin a good innocent friendship because of it is showing that you have trust issues and show how insecure you are about everything comes around your partner.

2025-01-29 23:32:22 +0000 UTCI've had contacts since I was 12 years old. How Leonard was with his contacts? That's me when I try to wear my glasses, lol. It takes away my peripheral vision, makes it all fuzzy, and skews my depth perception. Leonard might have an intolerance or allergies to the contacts, as the only time I've had issues is when a stray hair or grit gets trapped under a lens. That sucks for him, because I love the full-round sight my contacts give me. Priya needs to back off, as Leonard clearly can't tolerate them. That's a physical and/or medical issue over which he has no control.

No, it's not cool to ask someone to get rid of a friend even if they were lovers in the past, unless that friend is a harmful one, which Penny clearly is not. Not only is she Leonard's friend, she is friends with ALL those guys, and what Priya did is not right. My perception of this is definitely biased. I have had male friends literally my entire life. There weren't many of those who crossed over into the romantic realm, but there were a few. Currently, between my three main groups of friends (we're TTRPG gamers who hang out weekly in 3 distinct groups), 4 of the men are married and 2 are in serious relationships. With 2 of the men, their spouses don't hang out with us, though of course they would be welcome, and one man's girlfriend doesn't come over either. The point is, these men are my *friends* and nothing more than that. None of us would consider crossing any line and never will. Their partners aren't insecure and have never even hinted that we shouldn't be friends. I would be shocked and extremely upset if that happened. I will never understand the archaic concept that different genders can't be "just friends" because we can.

Priya asking Leonard to stop hanging out with Penny makes me remember Friends, when Emily asked Ross to stop seeing Rachel. Of course, I'm not ok with that odd request. For me, that's only a consequence of their insecurities. Thanks for the final comments, which I totally agree. See you in the next episodes!!
