42 hours over here when I was in labor with my daughter. Definitely a struggle to say the least! Doctor wanted to go for an emergency c-section in the end. As they were getting everything ready for me, I went against his recommendation and pushed her out anyway, I'd had enough haha. She was completely fine. I almost bled out but was ok after a couple of hours, Very lucky!

I'm always so excited to see your reaction to Janice's appearances! I love both these episodes, even though I hate the ending with Joey and Rachel. It was so stupid and I hate how they are dragging out Ross and Rachel when they clearly love each other and want to be together.
Fun facts:
The first couple's names are Mark and Julie, coincidentally the names of former characters conntected to Ross and Rachel.
Debi Mazar who played one of the mothers in labour (Doreen aka "evil bitch") was actually pregnant at the time.
In E23, one of the expectant fathers (the third couple with the "that was a big one!") is played by Douglas Looper. This is his fourth appearance on the show. He previously appeared in 3x23 as a fireman, in 5x08 as a paramedic and in 6x14 as the vampire in Ursula's porn movie.
A robotic baby was used sometimes in the scene when they pass around the baby after Rachel gives birth. Also, as with all scenes involving babies, a real nurse was present (the blonde seen when Rachel's in labour).
Matt improvised Joey slapping Phoebe's butt when trying to get to Cliff's room in E23.
Jennifer Aniston won an Emmy for these episodes. Also, E24 is her favorite episode.
Not so fun fact: Courteney Cox had a miscarriage the day before E23 was filmed, which makes the storyline about Monica and Chandler trying for a baby hit even harder.
