I don't know if I believe in soulmates but I know IF it does exist, it doesn't have to be in a romantic way. It could be best friends. Fun facts/details: When Rachel is watching the birthing video with Monica and Chandler and lifts her hands to her face, the ring seen on her right ring finger is Jennifer Aniston's engagement ring from Brad Pitt. This ring can be seen in more episodes, even though it doesn't make any sense that Rachel would wear one. She also wears her wedding ring in several episodes which can be seen on her left hand. In E15, Rachel mentions Nick @ Nite, which is the evening programming on Nickelodeon for adults with a lineup of classic television shows, including Friends. Matt LeBlanc received an Emmy nomination for E16. Goofs: Ross tells Mona that the baby started kicking while she was away for the week, but when the baby started kicking in the previous episode, Mona was in town. In fact, Ross kept forgetting he had plans with her. Joey says to Ross that this is the first time he's actually in love with someone, but he said he was in love with Kate in S3. However, this time it did not stem from recent sexual fantasies nor have the two had sex. It also may not have been as deep. Monica says she doesn't believe in soulmates, but in 7x24, she calls Chandler her soulmate in her wedding vows.

I‘m always a little annoyed with how the others (but usually Phoebe) think that Monica can do better than Chandler even now they’re married. Honestly, they‘re the most functional couple on this show. They are so good for each other and both have improved in different ways since getting together. So the others being dismissive of Chandler as Monica‘s partner always makes me feel sad for Chandler. Because it plays into his insecurities and makes him doubt everything which he shouldn’t be doubting anymore.

Gunther's "Rachel!" never fails to make me smile. I love these two episode. The tape thing is hilarious and Joey's/Matt's acting here is phenomenal. "Soulmates" do not exist in every language. Some languages only have "kindred spirits" and everyone in the country/culture knows that two kindred spirits can be friends, a person and their dog, a grandfather and his grandkid ... The idea of only one person being there out for you does not have an actual name in every culture, like it does in the USA , where people label it 'soulmates'. It's great to have people who get you, people you're close to, but being complete and enough on your own is the most important thing, no matter how high your emotions run next to some hot person. (imagine if your only true soulmate lives in a completely different country and dies in an accident before you can even afford to travel) Argh, Rachel's "something boring happened to someone in Middle Ages" is annoying... Boring like they were tortured and killed in town square by the Church leaders for being an atheist ....?

I was thinking the same thing. Yes. Well said.

The “What, what? Did her ass explode?!” is hilarious. It deserves a bigger laugh. And Ross just cracks me up. David Schwimmer is so good with his responses in Ross’ awkward situations. The best.

Wether intentional by the writers or not I love the subtle detail of Ross liking the drink Rachel accidentally left behind. It's just a nice reminder that despite their more obvious differences, they are still alike in many small ways.

A little thing I usually find annoying in shows and movies is when they don't call animals by their correct gender, the dog was clearly female and yet they kept calling it a he/him. and your right, Animals are the best, they are the ones you can trust 100%, they will always be there to support you.
