A false positive can happen but it is VERY rare. It only happens less than 1% of the time and usually is if you take a pregnancy test soon after taking fertility medicine that contains HCG or if you recently suffered a miscarriage. A false negative is much more common and usually happens if the test is taken too early, if you check the results too soon or if you take the test later in the day (it is most accurate in the morning because that's when your HCG levels are at their highest). I love that Phoebe did that because it made Rachel realise she actually wanted to have a baby and was disappointed when she thought it was negative. It just made sense for it to be Ross even though we didn't see them hook up. I also would've been mad if it had been Tag or just some rando. The mystery of the red sweater... Joey's face when he realises is the best! 🤣 A funny callback to 6x01 when Monica finds Rachel and Ross kissing on the night of her and Chandler's engagement, she is furious and says to Rachel "On the night you get engaged, I'm going to announce I'm pregnant". But on the night of Chandler and Monica's wedding, she finds out that Rachel is pregnant. There are quite a lot of deleted/extended scenes in E1 that were on the DVD extras, such as Ross saying while crying "You both said the right names, nobody was drunk, nobody was gay, and on your first try", Judy being disappointed that Monica isn't pregnant, Ben having a speaking line (you can see him in the cut version though) and Chandler trying to dance with Judy & ripping off her skirt 🤣 You can see it here: https://youtu.be/OndCyUJxjXc?si=7ZoeweO_xmtvW6Q8. I wonder if the Ben clip was cut because you can see Rachel behind Ross staring at him, which could've been a hint to the paternity. James Brolin is Josh Brolin's dad and a very famous actor as well. He's also married to Barbra Streisand and what's even funnier is that Elliott Gould (Jack) was married to her before that. Ed Begley Jr. is also a famous actor. And Boba is so cute!!

2024-06-29 01:59:47 +0000 UTCOh I always think why didn’t Ross pretend he lost his table number card and just go to the table he is clearly supposed to be seated at, and let them just tell the kid in his place that it’s a mix up and they are meant to be on the kid’s table! That always baffles me! But then I remember if they did that half the Ross comedy of that episode wouldn’t exist. It’s both frustrating and essential. So many easy solutions to so many situations, lol.

Love her so much! You are the loveliest little family, you really are! Love you guys!x Your reaction to the pregnancy was PERFECTION…then to Phoebe’s fib, and then to the sweater reveal! AMAZING! And yes…watching it live 20+ years ago, end of season cliffhangers was the worst!!!! Imagine waiting about 9 months to find out which room Ross went into at the end of S4, what happened after he said Rachel at his wedding, and finding out if Rachel is really pregnant, and who the father is!!! It was AGONISING!!!!!!!! But they used to air two episodes each week like you are doing, so now it’s a countdown each week till your next reaction, like we did back in the 90s and 2000s for the episodes! I feel both old, and a bit young again, doing it now with your reactions to them! And I’m laughing so much watching them with you, even though I’ve seen the episodes thousands of times (not an exaggeration!)! Hi to all over Patrons reading this 👋🏻 xxxxx

2024-06-29 01:53:36 +0000 UTCi like how the Friends' sequel/ripoff How I Met Your Mother kinda ripped off this wedding but made fun of how sitcoms pretend to miss easy solutions. Chandler could have simply danced barefoot, ask Ross or even his mom's Broadway partner to switch shoes with him, get birkenstocks at the giftshop, they could have covered the dancefloor with any carpet around, or he and Monica could have danced on the stage or a bit to the side where the floor is covered, just move the table with Monica's parents a bit more to the left, to make space on the carpet, they could've danced even at the place where he says "the world will never know" and the cameraman hired for the wedding would still film them. On HIMYM, the show does have the character realize how they missed a super simple solution for the groom, too.

I still get tingles every time I see that dedication, and watching the episode live at the time, it was, and indeed still is, a very poignant message, being the show is set in NY.xx

2024-06-28 15:49:45 +0000 UTC"I always figured the first time I had a baby, it would be with someone I love and that baby would be like, a keeper" (Rachel, 4x11) Of course she wanted the baby, the talked about being ready for children during her birthday party, Monica just got her to freak out a bit but it was definitely what she wanted at that point in her life. Phoebe's trick was indeed risky but she got Rachel all figured out, haha.

2024-06-15 09:25:14 +0000 UTCI love Jennifer Aniston in these episodes. The way she is able to communicate through her facial expressions is so amazing. When she spit out the champagne and then the whole bathroom scene. That was very daring of Phoebe to lie, but Jennifer did such a beautiful job of realizing that she was disappointed with the test being negative. So she could truly see how she felt about having a baby. If Phoebe would have just said it’s positive, it would’ve just confirmed what Rachel already knew, but she wouldn’t have known how much it meant to her until later in the pregnancy. I remember watching this live and I don’t think I knew who the father might be, but as soon as Ross found his sweater, my reaction was pretty much like yours and wondering what was going to happen next. I remembered that we as the audience find out along the the other Friends who were there, but I didn’t know what would happen and was trying to figure it out just like you. I’m loving this… Oh BTW: You may want to change the description just in case there are people watching for the first time along with you. I love these later seasons when we really know the characters. The first few seasons were great, don’t get me wrong, but in my opinion, the show really picked up to another level around season four and five.

With dogs afraid of thunder, their owner shouldn’t make a big deal out of it and act normal like you did and then the dog will pick up on that calm energy and be like “if my human is calm, then it must not be bad” If a dog is anxious or in any other negative state of mind and their owner is petting them saying good dog etc. from the dogs perspective, they are being praised for being good in that anxious/negative state and think that is how they should be to get that praise. I hope that makes sense. Basically, people should be careful about praising a dog and telling them when they are a good dog when they show positive behavior. I’ve seen a dog who was fighting the leash and jumping around, one owner was trying to hold the dog while the other owner was petting him and saying everything was okay and from the dogs POV, they understand that to be good behavior because they getting praised and being told they are a good dog Sorry for the impromptu dog training. 🤷🏻♀️

I think he and Phoebe would make a good couple. I loved their kiss, her reaction was great. Their moment was sweet like in the one where they turned 30 and Joey went after her to cross a really good kiss off her list. When I was first watching I really was hoping it was Ross, the reveal was priceless! 😂
