2023-12-30 05:22:24 +0000 UTCAwesome reaction :D! I LOVE Hamilton - it’s my favourite musical. The first time I saw it was on Disney+, but since 2020, I have seen it 3 times in London’s West End. While the filmed version is incredible, actually seeing it on the stage in person is even better… there’s just an extra energy that you feel in the theatre which makes it more emotional and all-encompassing. It’s also been really cool because I’ve now seen 4 different actors play Hamilton (Lin Manuel Miranda and 3 different British actors) and each one brought their own unique take on the character, all of which had something I loved about it) Same with the other characters - the actor playing King George in the West End last year played up the comedy a bit more and Eliza was just incredible during her solo (Burn) - she made me tear up. I’m hoping to see it again in London in 2024, I just need to find a time when I’m actually free to go!
