That was lieutenant Spears that shot the Germans after giving them cigarettes. You noticed the horses that died in the episode. The German army was very dependent on horses during WW2 and used 2.75 million during the war, unlike the USA and British Armies which were almost fully motorized.

2023-06-01 16:11:56 +0000 UTCi really love that this series follow history and real ppl so closely.. makes the impact even greater then other WW2 series like saving private ryan. i must admit i laughet a little when Thor described Winters like the Real life captain america.. but he is kinda right.. lol
