it's not "PREDESTINATION" , it's Nature vs Nurture. Would Faith be a good person if she had Buffy's family, friends, life?...and yes, "all she needed was better guidance". of course, guidance from more than just one watcher. She doesn't know that the watchers are actually a system,a company,that doesn't care about her. Giles was an amazing exception.

When Angel bashed down the door to save Wesley, he entered the apartment of someone who was still alive, the guy whose keys Faith stole. Cordelia said he was still in the hospital; he wasn't dead. Therefore, with a living tenant, Angel could *not* have entered the apartment uninvited. Just like he couldn't enter the apartment of Kate's father until the guy died from his injuries. Did I miss something? If the guy was squatting in the apartment, he wouldn't have had keys...hmmm...oh, well. LOL I'm also of the mindset -- probably biased -- that they should have killed Faith. I know, technically she's human and young and "lost" and all that, *but* she has done some truly horrendous things and doesn't really deserve to keep living a life in that fictional world. If she had died, another Slayer would have been called, and that would have been a *good* thing.

For example: the song playing in the bar as Faith dances/fights is titled "Living Dead Girl". The title gives us insight into how Faith sees herself. In her mind she IS a living dead girl.
