2023-04-14 01:25:40 +0000 UTCJonathan is actually a pretty good/supportive friend to the Scoobies during the course of the spell. So, it kind of sucks that they can't get past his obvious cry for help/friendship and fold him into the group. But, it's not surprising given how little they notice/appreciate Xander and his contributions. Xander said that Jonathan made him feel good about himself. And the gang just skated right by that comment.

I adore Tara; she really adds a special quality to the show and the Scoobies, and all I can say to you in regards to your pondering is....just keep that one scene in mind as you've been doing. I can't say when or how, but it *will* be explained in the show. So not forgetting that scene is important.
