july 2025 update: successful fundraiser!

hey! on the last update i mentioned we would be running a fundraiser to help me fix my home. well, the "goblin bunker TV" stream went surprisingly well and i'm currently in the process of slowly receiving the funds (paypal slows things down quite a bit). regardless, this marks the beginning of the end for this year-long arc of not being able to live in my own house. right now the goal is to spend that money on all the necessary paperwork and infrastructure so i can have my heating/gas/hot wat...

april 2025 update: life difficulties & the interim

hi everyone! last time i posted here i mentioned that i was feeling pretty exhausted with my living situation and that i was gonna try to find an apartment somewhere (preferably out of town). i also mentioned that i hadn't been able to work on new videos due to stress and exhaustion.

hi folks, this is a little post to let everyone know that i'm currently in the process of editing the new video - it's a big one (looking to be a little over 1 hour). i'm very happy with it so far! like i said, it's about a bunch of japanese horror movies i like as well as some manga and other things. working title is "weird & comfy japanese horror movies".

the start of 2025 has been difficult. not just because of world events but because i'm personally dealing with some pretty bad...

november 2024 update!

first things first: yup, i'm still working on the j-horror video! it's been a very daunting project, as there's nearly infinite ground to cover, but i'm gonna try my best to turn it into something cohesive and fun. i'm even reading a book about this stuff! (gasp). fun fact: we're slowly approaching the anniversary of the channel, so i wanna make this video my best one yet. i'm gonna continue evolving my style and honing my craft, no matter what.

hello denizens. over the last few weeks, i've been chipping away at the new video. this one will be focusing on an old and semi-obscure 12-episode anime. with a splash of equally obscure manga. as well as 1 or 2 other topics. i'm having a ton of fun working on this and hopefully it'll be out in the coming month(s).

hello MARIAMANIACS. i just finished recording the entire narration for my new video "GACKT, Final Fantasy, and You..." i'm not sure how long the final video will be, but it'll certainly be the longest thing i've worked on.

doing some rough math, it might be like 1 hour and 40 mins. but i'm not 100% certain. that being said, this one will be really fun. it's probably my fav video i've made so far.

yeah this is shaping up to be the biggest video i've ever made. i'm also very happy with how it's turning out. i covered most of the main topics but there's been many little tangents. once i'm done with the final main topics and asides. i'll do a revision of it.

then it's time to record and edit the thing. i know the wait has been long but this project has morphed and grown a lot. and it's heading in a great direction.
