Yeah, that is the only time I've noticed to be fair, but I fear I'm now going to be looking for boom mics in subsequent episodes!

2023-01-10 00:31:52 +0000 UTCJust finished this in full and I had so much fun, especially seeing you so hyped about Janice. Yes she's awesome and she is generally loved by the fandom so gush away! Maggie Wheeler does an amazing job I agree. Her "Oh. My. Gawd" and her laugh is truly iconic. As for Chandler, someone said it already...but I'm not sure he's in love with her. There's a comfort there and I suppose going back to her is a bit of a habit. It has already been shown that Chandler is not good with the ladies so perhaps her unwavering love for him must play a factor. Very similar to how Anya is with Xander come to think of it! π I know you love Janice but in real life I think she would drive you nuts haha. A lot of the humour comes from seeing how annoying she is to others. And finally, about ep 13, I'm so glad you appreciated the twist with Joey's mother. I feel the same. I think that whole story was written so well. Ignorance is bliss and Joey's mother says she's happy but when she asks about Ronnie, you see the pain in her eyes. There's so much nuance in that scene especially the fact that Ronnie wasn't painted as evil. I appreciate that the it didn't feel preachy. The sad thing is, if it wasn't for the circumstance I think Ronnie and the mother could have been the best of friends. Anyway, loved the reaction and as always, looking forward to more. The next few episodes are some of my favourites :)

2023-01-09 15:32:49 +0000 UTCI don't know if anyone else noticed, but in the scene where Chandler wakes up with Janice, the way it was filmed back in the day meant you couldn't see Janice until the camera panned left, but here you could see her from the outset which kinda ruined the surprise! I'm not sure if future episodes will end up showing things we're not supposed to see ie. widescreen instead of whatever it used to be (4:3?) but it's not dissimilar to the Buffy remasters which were awful for this.
