Added 2022-04-07 20:11:51 +0000 UTCThis movie is so gentle, so sweet, so tragic, and so personal... honestly, like Edward himself. Johnny Depp conveys so much saying so little, and the supporting cast kills it as well. I wish we could see more original fairytales just like this.

2024-04-08 03:26:25 +0000 UTCI haven't seen this since I was super young and all I remembered was the waterbed and that it was a cosy film. Rewatching this it's clear the Burton-esk style went right over my head haha. This is probably my favourite Johnny Depp/ Burton film though. And to be honest, I always find myself coming away pretty empty watching Burton's films (even though they're very imaginative). However, my heart was aching for Edward throughout and so this one is definitely special. The beautiful relationship between Kim and Edward is definitely the highlight for me. Great reaction Thor :)
