Ghostbusters 2 FULL Reaction: FIRST TIME WATCHING

I finally finished it…love this reaction! I agree with all of your points regarding the tight script, jokes and the deeper message about the Ghostbusters being taken for granted and the slime showing both the good and bad side of humanity (PS: your deep thoughts are always welcome!) - I love the vibe of this film because it really feels so old school with the style of jokes and the wholesome relationships. Plus the cast holds so much nostalgia for me….Dan Ackroyd, Bill Murray and Rick Moranis are my childhood! :) - The song they used is ‘(Your Love Keeps Lifting Me) Higher and Higher’ by Jackie Wilson. You need to listen to more old music, so many gems! :) - I also found it ironic how you were completely against the judge in the courtroom. In real life you would totally be him (the skeptic who doesn’t believe in ghosts) 😂 Anyway I wish they did part 3 too…I always say it, but this era of filmmaking was golden…So much fun!

Actually I disagree. There's a video game that came out 10-15 yrs ago thats even more of a sequel than Afterlife will be. Of course I'm sure it's not canon now.

Yeah I get liking the sequel more. I'm of the same opinion, but I can't watch GB2 without watching the first one before it 😅 Ghostbusters Afterlife is going to be the closest to a third film we are going to get. It's supposed to be a continuation of the original two films with most of the original cast making appearances (minus Harold Ramis who has passed away). I leave it up to you whether you want to watch Ghostbusters (2016) though. If you do, I'll watch your reaction, but personally I think it was terrible. Even with the great cast they had. 🙄

That makes sense, while I think both films could be fun for kids, I am glad that I watched them as an adult

When the first GB came out I was too young, but with the second I understood a lot more of the humor, so yeah I prefer the sequel, just for personal sentiments.
