IT Chapter 2 FULL Reaction

Sorry this one is a day late, I was having issues getting it exported.

IT Chapter 2 FULL Reaction

Comments

can't find chapter 1 here..

I knew King struggled with some addictions, I do wonder how much that affected the ending of this one... hard to imagine it didn't play some role. As far as the miniseries, I might check that one out (maybe later down the line). I'd love to compare the differences between that show and the new movies (and also the book if I end up reading it)

Nicholas Crowell

Well, it is Halloween soon... never know what might come out of the door...

Nicholas Crowell

You never know what might happen... ;)

I completely missed that, but what a great little detail! I thought she looked similar, but the fact that they used the same actress is really cool honestly

That's one I would like to check out! I like comparing different adaptions in media... and maybe I could watch it either during or after reading the book to compare those as well

After I made a case for "The Shining", I just placed a hold on "IT" at my library xD. Surprised how much I forgot about Chapter 2, guess I could do with a re-read of the book as well. Also have to agree with Ian^, the cracked open door behind you is not doing it for me.

The whole month long, I've been unable to concentrate on Thor's reactions. I keep staring over his shoulder into the darkness beyond that cracked open door, waiting for a pair of red eyes or a gashly hand to appear. Now that would totally freak me out!

I don't see any one else mentioning this but... in the book it's said that eddie was so attached to his mother that he ended up marrying a woman who looked just like her. I mention this because the actress who plays his wife here- is the same actress who plays his mother in both. Sorry for wonky comments btw, not used to patron's system

IT was a mini series in the 90s too. Maybe check that one out too to see the differences. The mini series included 1 and 2.

The book is so good, though there are a couple of scenes toward the end that it helps to remember that it was reportedly written during a time in King's career where he admitted he was drunk and/or high on cocaine most of the time. Would love to see you react to the 1990 TV miniseries - nowhere near as good a production, but more faithful to the book, and worth watching for Tim Curry as Pennywise, and the other actors are pretty good, too. Most of the actors were very well known at the time, but not so much now.
