I had to deal with some real-life stuff and, honestly, a mean case of writer’s block.
After re-reading the last scene, I realized I hated it. It felt like I was just throwing it in there to check a box—to give you what you were expecting, just to comply. That’s not how I want to write this story.
So I deleted that scene and rewrote it from scratch. I wasn’t sure what to say while I was working on it, and I genuinely thought it wouldn’t take that long. But I got stuck. Really stuck. It’s like hitting a wall—suddenly you start to suck at something you thought you were good at… and you don’t know how to make it stop.
To be honest, that’s one of the reasons I was hesitant about doing builds at first. I knew something like this might happen sooner or later. It’s also why I wanted to release other side content, so there’d be something to share even if I hit a wall. But everything was going so smoothly, and I poured all my focus into My Wife Mariko, so when the block hit—I had nothing to show.
But my biggest mistake was staying quiet about it. So once again, I’m really sorry for that. It won’t happen again.

Remember to start the game from the Start option in the title screen — you can choose from which point to begin there. Avoid using old saves, since they could cause issues. Most choices are just for immersion, but you might want to save at the last one...
