Merry Xmass and Happy New Year + Important Info for Next Year

I hope you're having a nice holiday. I'm posting this to inform you of my goals for next year and also some important information regarding some minor changes to my Patreon page.

First: I already told you in a prior post, but the Villain Tier ($2) has become a "tip" tier. You won't get anything from it, besides the satisfaction of supporting the best VN writer of this generation 😎 (just kidding...). I might make another tier with $1 dollar tip/support in the future... Maybe no one pledges those tiers, but they will be there just in case you have it in the bottom of your heart to give me some encouragement to keep working on my projects.

Second: The Supporting Character Tier ($3) will become an "occasional" Tier. It will be there, but I won't post something for that Tier every month. The reason is that it has become a source of stress for me to have to think about something for that Tier every month.

I'm the kind of creator who can't focus on just one project. If I don't work on multiple things I get burned out. I thought working on side projects and posting them on that Tier every month would be a good idea, but doing so is stressful and time-consuming. I want to work on side projects as a break from my main project (currently My Wife Mariko) in a relaxed way. Having to post something for that Tier every month defies the purpose of its existence: In the end, I ended up not finishing either (my main project and my side-project) for that month.

I'll still post on that Tier. I have lots of side projects (short/episodic projects like Tomoe or My Girlfriend) I'm working on, but I want to focus on those in a relaxed way, at my own pace. So my advice is that if you see I post something on that Tier on a given month, pledge that Tier, grab what you want, and then cancel... that is if you're not in the Antagonist Tier ($5), in which case you will get whatever is posted in that Tier automatically.

Third: I want to make my goal for next year to post a build for my Main Project (currently My Wife Mariko) every month. I'm aware that consistency has been my worst enemy. I'm trying to change things (like what I'm doing in the prior point) to tackle that obstacle. I want to focus on one thing, while at the same time taking breaks (working on side-projects) that will not hinder my progress. I'll try that method next year, let's see how it goes.

Fourth: I already told you, but just in case, there won't be WIPs posts anymore. The wall on Patreon will be mainly to post releases and sometimes important info (like this post). The WIPs will be discussed in the chat (yes, now Patreon has a chat feature, in case you didn't notice). I want WIPs to be more frequent and more casual. I'm not used to it yet, but I'll try to be more active in the future. The idea is to treat the WIPs like a chat with friends. I've had an experience like that with some of my fans on Discord which resulted in a great source of inspiration for me, as well as feedback on my ideas, so I want to do that here as well.

The general chat is open to all members (Free or not). So I encourage you to join and give me your thoughts. I haven't had much feedback here on what you think about My Wife Mariko's last release, so I'd love it if you could give me your opinions on it.

Finally, I have to say that I'm really surprised with the results of the poll. Damn!! You really love Mystery NTR. I mean, I knew you did, but I thought the other options would be much closer than they are. Vote if you haven't already, and for those who vote for the options that are losing, don't be discouraged. I think there will be something for everyone in the long run.

Anyway, that's all for this long-ass post. I wish you the best for this next year. Stay healthy!!
