That's fascinating! Did you notice a change in your perception of students' grades when shifting to online during covid?

From personal experience, I can confirm this effect. When grading exams I feel the tendency described in the study. So whenever I am inclined to more generous, I always question that and carefully check whether others would deserve that generosity too, purely for what they handed in. That takes real, extra work, but I think I achieve fairness that way and anything else would not be acceptable. I strongly suspect many teachers do not have that awareness though or do not spend that extra time and this study would confirm that.

She fears men more than
bears, so: good-luck with
that one Justin. She could
probably teach a Master-
class on how to nullify
one's psychic abilities
with psycho-meds:
which is pretty much
what every psychiatrist
does to every psychic-
medium they have as
patients. It might also
help if you're 10-20 years
older than her & you're
really immature for your
age.
