I just discovered a journal prompt I quite liked: write 3 versions of yourself, your ideal you one year from now, your probable you one year from now, and your worst you one year from now. what habits do you need to incorporate to ensure you can get as close to the ideal you as possible? I found this exercise to be super insightful & illuminating, and that most things in my "ideal" portion were out of my control, but that all the habits/actions that I could possibly take to get there, I'm already taking!
