My city is on fire

Hey everyone, as you may have heard on the news, 100mph winds & wildfires have devastated Southern California. Luckily I am safe, but I helped evacuate my brother and several friends yesterday. Sante Dor Foundation needed an emergency evacuation of their pets as well. 75% of pacific palisades is gone. Hollywood hills is burning. The Getty and the observatory are on fire. Friends have needed to flee south. I know several people who have lost their homes. Over 300 animals with burns and injuries have been admitted to Pasadena humane alone. I cannot bear the thought of how many domesticated & wild animals have likely suffered - or worse - throughout this.
This will take ages for people to rebuild. So much has been lost. I woke up this morning to ash raining from the sky like some fucked up version of snow. The air quality is so bad Beetle is having asthma attacks. We have had cat carriers & go bags packed; ready to evacuate at the first notice.
I took this photo prior to the fires, when the winds were raging the day before they first broke out. It was stormy, but when you live in a place that’s perpetually sunny, any deviation of the weather seems cute. I cringe looking back on how kitschy I thought the storm was. How romantic! Look at this wind! Look at a cloudy sky! How novel.
Hard cut to staring out at the hills from my balcony that evening as orange fires raged in the north, I felt sick. You could see it spreading at a horrific pace, but the winds were so severe helicopters could not aid in the fight - essential for containing our fires.
I’m not sure the worst of it is over, but I spent yesterday in a spiral of anxiety over the collective losses of my community. All I can hope to do is aid the people & animals in Los Angeles as we mourn the loss, pick through the ash & rebuild.
As such, I will be donating proceeds to the charities assisting those devastated by these fires, starting with Pasadena humane.
Thank you so much for your support x
Stay safe
My gf's & i had a simple code
to know if I was still alive.
I would type "K" everyday to
let her know when i was
responding to a crisis,
but didn't have time to talk
when in survival-mode.
Since there are no read-receipts
for Instagram messages, could
you please skip to the end of 91
messages likely ignored & review
the links to the photos of myself
& my RV. When done, hit a key.
Since I'm close to the finish-line,
I thought I would give you a
early-release. Before FOX
NEWS puts my 1 & only
mugshot up (from wrongful
arrest) & begins to slander me,
I wanted to control my narrative
positively with you before
the negatives come out.
Even though I'm not real to
you, can i hypothetically ask,
what happens after i prove
that i am really who or what
I say i am ? Then what ?
I have to fly back in 2 weeks
or so to scoop Yoshua,
son of Yahweh: up from jail.
He's getting on house arrest.
If he were here, he could
change the wind direction or
stop it altogether. I wonder if
he can do it from jail like he
manifested that hail-storm
before.
Like i said, if I'm real & still in
town for a week or two yet,
then how would you like to
see that play-out ? I would
like to stop by & grab that
"Miss Earth 2059" series if
you got a backup. I'll trade you
an inscribed & signed copy of
your book for keeps or resale.
If you're 90% straight, then
what is Hayes ? Of the lesbians
I know, they still enjoyed a good
d***ing every once in a while &
I was the friend they were okay
with giving that to them.

Unfortunately, horrible as this is, it is not unexpected. Events like these (more extreme weather conditions) will get more common, just as the models have been predicting for about 40 years now. The only good thing here is that this is concrete and relatable, unlike some abstract graph on a piece of paper. I still hope everybody gets through this alive, but I know that is not going to happen.

We visited there for the first time this summer. Such a gorgeous place. So devastating to see when our eyes have seen it all in real life. Wishing you and all your loved ones and the city and responders the best in recovery efforts. Peace and love.

It is sad. Things can be replaced though. Just get the lives out of there if you can and help who you are able. And if you need something beyond the money, or more money ever, pls ask. I'm not a rich man, but I can give what I have, when I have it.

As someone who also lives in a fire prone area, I totally understand what it's like. Fortunately for me, our previous fires haven't been nearly as bad as what you are currently experiencing. Stay safe and vigilant Anna.
Feels obvious, but keep windows closed and don't turn on fans or vacuums. It tosses any ash up into the air and I recommend masking up if you need to go outside.

It’s rough. We lost a family member and my parents friends lost houses in Pasadena. This is just the worst possible combination of environmental factors.
