I was more relaxed and productive last week. I feel like I got a more reasonable amount of sprites drawn, and I've cleared some stressful issues about my personal life [ I managed to get conditional approval of my reno from my new condo board so that was a huge weight off ]
I'm still pretty busy and often need to answer phone calls or go to meetings during my work hours but it's easier when I'm not super anxious.
Actually, I wanted to apologize for getting so stressed out on my update last time and talking about my finances being tight. I noticed an increase in my Patreon earnings after that and I don't feel right about that.
I put myself in Situations™. I'm the one who chose to buy a foreclosed apartment and try to renovate it. I'm the one who wasn't prepared for tax agency surprises. That's on me and no one else. Please don't pledge more to my patreon just because I complained about situations I put myself into.
I'm gonna work hard and get through it!
Also, anyone who's followed me for a long time can confirm that we are well within the normal number of breakdowns for a long project LMAO Freakouts, crying, and anxiety attacks happen and every single one of my long projects has included several. Bumps in the road are very normal for me!
Oh- one more thing before I get to the sprites- I have been getting a lot of messages again about patreon leaks. I am aware of them, but unfortunately there's just nothing I can do. People can just make new accounts. I mentioned it on my website recently, my position is that the economy is rough right now and if people really need to see my game wips for free then it's okay. As long as they're over 18.

I think the most technologically simple ways to do it would be to open a new patreon tier for beta testing with limited space that gets connected to a discord.

Way earlier in the project, I was planning to have it be an open beta for all patreon members, but now I'm worrying if that's ending up to be too many people [ which would make it hard for me to sort through bug reports and possibly create other problems ] So I'm trying to figure out what I'll do
