C-C-C-Combo Update!

Hello folks! It is both Saturday and the first of a new month, so I'm going to cram my credits update and Saturday update together! Is this the correct choice of action? I am not sure! But it's 6:40AM and it seems like a good enough idea to me right now!

I will preface this update with an apology for poor performance this week though ^^;

I had a really rough early week and had trouble getting back on the wagon. On Monday I had an appointment in person and an virtual phone doctor appointment, a massive headache, and the fire alarm tests in my apartment were going on so it was just a terrible mess. The doc phone appointment really upset me too. Basically she told me I need to talk to a doctor in person, which is not something I can easily do since my town has no walk in clinic and there's a severe shortage of family doctors in my province. I just can't get one [ been trying, on a waiting list... ]

On Tuesday I bit the bullet and went to the emergency room for my problem. Which sucks on multiple levels. I was there all day because it wasn't an emergency and I felt like an asshole for using emergency resources for a non-emergency- unfortunately it is very much the only way I can see a human doctor in the flesh. And at the end of it the emergency doc told me that the only way I can get help for my problem is to talk to my family doctor which I do not have :')

For the rest of the week I was exhausted and had low morale, trying to catch up. I just didn't get much done ^^; I'm really sorry about that! I'm sure next week I will be back to normal though!

[ Also please do not worry about my medical issue- like I mentioned, it's not an emergency and it is absolutely not life threatening. It's just a painful surface thing that I need to get used to. I'll buy some stuff to help with it ]

Anyway, let's start with the Saturday Update!

Current Art Finalization: 133/743

So, I'm not too sure what's going on with the numbers ^^; I thought I finished more than 10 images last week despite the poor performance. Maybe I counted wrong on a previous week? Honestly I don't know. But I think this number is accurate because I counted 3 times this time.

Last week I spent pretty much the whole week working on various 'Night Outfit' Strade standing sprites. And by 'Night Outfit' I mean he's just in underwear LMAO Oh, I did get a couple of other straggler random standing sprites done too.

The first 'Night Sprite' base was another case of me disliking the placeholder and needing to make some updates to it:

And I'm sure you'd probably like to see him with a head LMAO, so here's a pic from in-game:

Lastly, I completed a completely different set of him in the same 'outfit'. The reasoning for this is that he need to be positioned better to have a conversation with Ren.

And that's is all I have for the Saturday Update, my apologies again ^^; Next week I think I'll do some of his more 'special' poses, and get into Ren's standing sprites [ of which there are shockingly many! ]

And once I'm done all the standing sprites, I think I'll take my first music week 🤔

I've officially been working on this game for a full year! Wow!
