Saturday Update!

Hello again folks! We've reached the end of my little vacation and it's time for me to get back to work again next week!

Last week I gave you guys a poll asking if you wanted me to spill about my secret small project, and the majority said yes- so I will be showing you guys my work as I go!

I may not have too much to show for the first couple of weeks since I'll be working on writing, but after that I'll be posting the art I make as I create it.

Now, before I announce what it is I'm working on, I would like to beg for your continued discretion. Even though you guys voted to see what I'm doing, I would appreciate it so much if you didn't tell anyone else. It's just that I work so much better when I don't have to deal with much hype! I don't mind you guys getting excited, but if everyone knew it would be a lot of pressure haha! Plus, I want it to be a surprise for most people :) I think that would be fun!

Now, onto the announcement.

What I'll be spending the next few months creating [ I'm hoping no more than 3 months ], is a free DLC for TPOF called The Show Must Go On

Some people might have guessed it- and some people definitely asked for it, but I already had my heart set on making it quite a while ago haha!

What it will be is a short story that is accessed when you ask the auction announcer to take you home- now he will.

The story's length may be similar to a long TPOF run [ or maybe longer? ] but it will not have a branching storyline. There will still be choices of course- and they will determine if you make it further in the story or die prematurely. 

This story will also revolve around the Announcer's 'streaming' hobby. If you've played BTD1, it will be a little similar to the ending 'Strade made you a star'- except it will be much, much more detailed.

So detailed in fact that this DLC will have to have its own extensive warning list. The writing is already bullet-planned out and several scenes will be rather 'intense'.

But it will be free [ and optional ] to all owners of TPOF so :) I figure I can write as nasty as I want ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Anyway, that's the project outline! You'll find out more as we go. I'm excited to officially get down to work on the writing grind on Monday!
