New Video Title Reveal + Transparency

First of all, I'd like to wish everyone a wonderful end of the year!

I'm happy to finally reveal a little more about my upcoming analog horror short: NOWHERE BOULEVARD, an alien horror thriller. Set in the Colorado Desert of California, there will be otherworldly encounters, abductions, extraterrestrial transmissions, and a mysterious entity and its cosmic labyrinth.

It's an arduous production that has been underway since around October, but I assure you the wait will be worth it....

What happens now? (Patreon Update)

Hello, Patreon supporters!

As you may already know, after Oakburn Opus: Lies, we'll have Oakburn Opus Part IV and Oakburn Opus Part V: Finale.

I have very ambitious ideas for these two episodes; they are by far the most important and impactful, and will require the most work and planning. It will take time! I'm currently a one-man team, rendering production slow.

The channel may seem inactive for a while, and Oakburn Opus content may take a...

Thank you so much for your patience and support. More information will follow as the week progresses leading up to the premiere.

Here's some previously unreleased information about the episode:

It's the longest episode yet, clocking in at over 32 minutes.

A small content warning, the episode addresses complex and mature themes, for example: Grief, loss and suicidal ideation.

I recommend rewatching the oth...

Teaser + Update

Hey everyone, the next Oakburn Opus is just around the corner! I don't have an official release date yet, but I anticipate the premiere to be sometime in early-September.

This is by far my most ambitious project and it will be a game-changer for the series. It's also my most mature, bold video yet, but I'll talk more about that in the future. I'm incredibly grateful for all the contributions and faith in the project. Stay tuned for more updates and teasers!

Oakburn Opus: Lies, Now in production

Oakburn Opus: Lies

- Now in production

I've officially started working on the next entry in the Oakburn Opus series, Oakburn Opus: Lies.

More information and Patreon-exclusive teasers will follow as production progresses.

(Note: You may have noticed a slight change in the title from what was previously announced as "The Oakburn Lies" in the trailer. This change was to include the name "Oakburn Opus" and avoid potential confusion.)

Oakburn Opus Part II: Illustrations

Part 2 of Oakburn Opus follows the investigative horror/true crime genre, in this story we explore Marvpyas' influence on a smaller scope, influencing only a single unknown individual to commit horrific acts. The writing was heavily inspired by H.P Lovecraft, this is where we see the first mentions of the Drowned City, the name "Marvpyas", and a more solid introduction of Martha into the story.

The color grading relies heavily on the contrast between blue and red (a contrast essential...

Marvpyas' concept art

Marvpyas is a monster born from a cursed lake. Following this theme, I wanted his appearance to reflect common characteristics of sea monsters, such as Lovecraft's Dagon—with fins, scales, piranha teeth, and other details not yet shown.
In addition to the marine aesthetic, his design needed to be simple (due to VFX limitations) but also easily identifiable as a silhouette, thus the horns and the cloak.

The "horns" and the cloak were inspired by typical portrayals of the Pied Piper ...
