Added 2025-04-13 08:14:02 +0000 UTCI upgraded the previous build to Godot 4.4, which has improvements to shader generation and a bunch of other stuff. Hopefully this fixes the issues people are having with the vulkan shader caching.
The windows build now supports Directx12 and there is also now a version of the windows build that defaults to using dx12 over vulkan. Godot isn't able to switch rendering drivers while the game is running yet. So the windows build will be split into two versions from now on to prevent users from having to use command line arguments to start the game with the desired rendering driver.
I also fixed the new error handling when launching the game. In my infinite wisdom I forgot to actually test it, so if the game was crashing before the age verification then the faulty error handling was probably the cause.
If you have had problems getting the game to run lately please let me know whether this build fixes it or not.

2025-04-17 08:00:07 +0000 UTCThe dxdiag mentions a memory leak, which is probably caused by the game encountering an error and then retrying the same thing each frame. If you run the game from the command line I believe it prints out the actual .net error message.

2025-04-17 07:55:36 +0000 UTCHeya floppy. I have here a pastebin of a DxDiag report. Having trouble getting the game to run any incubus encounters at all ever since a few patches ago. Reaching incubus, he charms my allies, and then it's just a black screen with the sex SFX. Only solution from here is to Alt+F4, because skipping won't happen. This issue first popped up in the initial Incubus release, but was resolved with a subsequent patch (though it wasn't noted in said patch that this was an issue being resolved). Following that release, though, the issue has returned and remained persistent. I don't actually remember which version was working though, sorry. Drivers are up to date, tried a fresh install of the game and everything. Male x Male options are also enabled in case this was a potential issue. https://pastebin.com/r3BTqCt7
