v0.4 Early access 1.5 and v0.3 public build
Added 2025-02-28 11:52:25 +0000 UTCI've spent the last week preparing v0.3 for the public release, which is now uploaded on itch.
I did quite a lot of testing and fixed a bunch of bugs. I also ended up completely rewriting the minimap to improve performance on the larger floors.
I added all the fixes and changes to the newest early access build. Which I'm calling early access 1.5.
I've gotten some work done on the new content for early access 2 but the preview will have to be delayed to sometime next week.

The first floor TV can no longer trigger multiple game overs. (Thanks to IcyNinji for the bug report).
Chloe should no longer be bald in nude cinematics while wearing the alpine beanie (Thanks to IcyNinji for the bug report).
The bookcase and shallow grave will now properly remove wands from the loot pool.
Added missing succubus/incubus sleeping animation.
Fixed an issue preventing idle animations being reset when an effect gets removed (Thanks to MyahTG for the bug report).
Minimap has been near completely rewritten and now performs much better on larger floors.
The character inspector now displays the characters faction and active effects.
Both keyboard and gamepad button input will now work even if the game is stuck in mouse input mode.
Resource bar squares are now handled by a custom font and should appear identical on all operating systems.
Fixed a bunch of bugs with poison gas instantly combusting near lava.

It seems to work fine on my end. I forgot to unlock the cinematic in the v0.4 early access 1 build, but that was fixed in hotfix 1. Anyways I'll look into it. There might be some other shenanigans happening in the game logic causing it to break.

2025-03-05 21:24:02 +0000 UTCIt's supposed to unlock and save the metaprogress file the moment the cinematic starts. So if you spawn an ally kobold and an enemy succubus/incubus at the debug console on the first floor that should do it.

2025-03-05 20:42:54 +0000 UTCwhen I try to unlock the new sucubus and incubus animation with the partners, they don't seem to be unlocked even after i've activated any of them. is this linked to the fact I've got a previous save file or is it just that i need to complete the run after getting the animation?

2025-03-05 20:23:40 +0000 UTCNot sure if this is a bug or intentional but. Had a Charm Ring on when a Aphrodisiac Gas Trap made both me & the Kobold Follower too horny to refuse. Once the Charm wore off he was permanently aggro and I had to put him down π If intentional: that's kinda cool, adds a layer of autonomy to the game where your allies don't appreciate being manipulated by your Succubus sorcery If unintentional: still funny, but figured you should know.

After dying on a previous run by running into the TV, the animation for the TV static now remains on the map on all floors. This is similar to a previous bug where summoned skulls would not despawn, and just stay on the same place on each floor. Issue continued across multiple playthroughs after initial happening until totally closing and restarting the game.
