This version has a few new features in addition to the new cinematics.

There is new in-game remapping menu for keyboard and joypad input.
There are also new settings for disabling cinematics based on sexuality.
I added two temporary spells, "rest" and "masturbate" to the players starter kit as a stopgap to avoid having to spam the wait button to recover over time.
The player now also starts with one of the new water vials.

There is a total of 6 new cinematics in this build (8 if you count the shared ones).
The original plan for the Sedusa statue cinematic tanked the framerate pretty hard so plan B has been added as a placeholder slideshow.

I've also been playing around with fmod this month, which is an audio middleware that makes working with audio for games less of a hassle. The biggest selling point for me is the live editing feature, which allows for swapping out audio clips and changing other stuff while the game is running.
It really opened my eyes to how clunky my current audio workflow is in Godot, and having a solution like fmod would be a major productivity boost.
I haven't added it to this build as the Godot engine isn't officially supported yet and probably won't be for some time. There is community maintained plugin on github, but I don't know how stable it is yet. I might try using it for a cinematic or two in next months build.

The public release of version 0.3 will be uploaded to itch sometime before the end of the month with the input remapping menu and some bugfixes backported.

I'll try to get the preview for the march build posted on the 1st but it might be a day or two delayed.

Comments

The bath has a hidden area accessed through a concealed pathway to the right of the entrance. If you have discovered the area before taking a bath you get the minotaur version of the cinematic. The bus on ally cinematics are triggered by having an ally kobold or frank near a lonely enemy incubus/succubus.

Interact with the computer on the first floor, it lets you spawn in monsters. There's also a teleporter there. If you're playing on an early access build earlier than the hotfix attached to this post then the entrance is hidden by a fake wall (It's opposite of the room with the mirror).

I think it's working as intended. I shortened the stun effect after recruitment cinematics because it was annoying having to wait for them to follow. But it should last ~10 turns after a normal one. I'll look into the covering of the player with the juices when working on the planned cusomization stuff.

Thank you. On the first neutral floor one of the statues grant an effect that slows down calories based on the lewd meter. The plan is to use the statue rewards for more passive sex perks, while rings grant active effects. There is a scroll of decurse in the game but it can be pretty rare. Decursing can also be done at a holy water fountain by interacting with it while wielding cursed equipment. Looping is currently a bonus feature, but it will be expanded upon at some point. The biggest priority right now is to get the main dungeon finished, or at least blocked out.

And slight cosmetic suggestion: Maybe a cum drip effect when chloe is full and walking around would be nice, and I'd like to know if it'd be possible if being covered in cum is option

Bug Report: specifically allies I think seem to bug out and stay in their post sex stunned state if a scene is started by chloe being charmed(atleast that's how i got it). And had an idea for a consequence of super high cum bar. Possibly adding a new enemy or Alternatively using either the Suc/inc that significantly slow down your cum drain and nerf your ability to masterbate and use cumpkins. maybe like masturbate is nerfed to -10 cum and cumpkin is nerfed to -25. Or another option is having your bar filled past a certain part gives you a perma charmed affect until you get it back down.

Found a rather unexpected bug with the new hotfix. If you run into the tv on the first floor, you will automatically die and get the end game animation. And you can make it stack on itself by holding the up arrow into the tv, making multiple Chloes fall out of the tv in the animation. Attempting to continue from here locked the game up for me. Also noticed that the default bra clips through the breasts during scene with the merchant pig man and the pumpkin. And the blacksmith restarts his hammer swing animation every time Chloe steps onto a new tile. If you use the alpine model the vest clips through the body for the double skull animation. And the hair vanishes, leaving Chloe BALD for the voyeur animation.

Looking forward to testing it - was addicted the last few nights playing the v0.4. Figured I'd leave some feedback here with my first time impression: 1. Gameplay loop is solid Sex gameplay integration opportunities - I'm curious to see what opportunities you take to integrate the cum value with the other gameplay elements. Combat is very energy/hunger focused, and since you allow players to actively partake in sexual activities, it might be an interesting mechanic to allow players to fill hunger with cum depending on animations (eg. a blowjob, tentacles) This would allow sex-focused builds. Alternatively you could add equipment that buffs you passively, but the buff is reduced depending on cum or hunger status. Having cum or hunger affect weapon enchantments would be interesting. For example, with a high hunger, a vampiric sword heals the player for more - encouraging the players to be less risk averse. Not sure if it's in the game, but a tome/scroll for dispelling curses would be extremely valuable to a player. Alternatively, you could make one make a curse *worse*. Potentially a fun gamble. Charm is an interesting spell in this game - it'd be interesting to play with that effect. For example, a player makes a build that focuses on causing enemies to either harm each other, or harm themselves. 2. End-Game + Currently, your game loops back to the start if you fully make it through the dungeon - awesome. It really helps keep the game going, and allows players to try again with new build ideas. From what I saw it also either kept or increased stats afterwards. I'd be curious how you could build on this. Quick thoughts - convert equipment to their bit value, then add a store to the dungeon start, giving opportunity to invest (or waste) bits. 3. Clothing Love the clothing options. If possible, I'd love to mix-and-match outfits. I see that's partially the case, but I figure the reason it isn't fully is due to either technical constraints, or issues with clothing interacting in animations. It'd be interesting if, down the line, you make clothing into equipment. For example, a cursed corset that increase damage. If that's a limitation, lean into the accessories - earrings, piercings, or other non-clothing equipment. They could be added to the model for the animations, and/or also have other effects. Overall, this game design is both fun and interesting. I can't wait to see it grow. :)

Thanks for the response! I was also wondering about other characters/expanded wardrobe. Glad to hear it! In the grand tradition of roguelikes I don't know how long it's going to take to get to the end but I will surely enjoy the journey!

You can enable fly mode for the camera during cinematics by pressing in the mouse scroll wheel or the right analogue stick on a gamepad. Back button for cinematics might be a bit tricky to add but I would like one for debugging purposes so I'll look into it. And the main characters animation rig isn't set up to handle any other genitals. And changing it at this point would create too many problems. I have plans for more playable characters but they won't be added anytime soon, I want to have the dungeon in a completable state first.

Maybe for some special or elemental enemies. It's very easy to end up in a situation where it's impossible to get past a floor without the correct damage type if every enemy on said floor has the same resistances. But something like a fire elemental should also be immune to fire damage.

Loving the game and can report that on Linux it runs really well (at least for me). As far as the game goes I've been really enjoying the mechanics, being able to use aphrodisiac as a weapon is a lot of fun! Having barely dipped my toes into what's in the game currently I was wondering two things: 1. Is there a way/are there plans, for some control of cinematics? Things like camera angle, even if fixed (I noticed what I think is camera trickery to attain certain angles/views which would make this somewhat unattainable), or going back to a previous scene like we can go forward. 2. Is there any possibility of exchanging our heroines genitalia, like a costume perhaps? But that would ruin some animations and every penetrative interaction would have to have an anal alternative to account for the change.

I saw the effect for the bath scene but if I try to strip naked, get in water, and have sex with an enemy, there’s no wet effect.

love the game so far, so much attention to detail and fun mechanics. really like the addition of water bottles, it makes the ice enchantment more viable on floors other than the water floor. any thought of giving elemental resistances/vulnerabilities to monsters, like fishmen weak to electric, kobolds weak to ice, brutes weak to fire, etc? here's to hoping we get a bunny girl outfit for easter!

but the fact you can rest makes the vending machine health redundant. resting essentially turns calories into HP so all you have to do is rest twice and then buy a soda. it's a little clunkier than just "press for more health" but it gets the job done.

New game plus is more of a fun little extra at the moment. But I am considering ways to make it more of a liability to have absurdly large naughty bars. I've added the hardcore toggle to my todo list. Having a way of changing to hardcore while in regular runs would be cool.

It might be hard to spot on the player as it only makes the skin glossy for now, so any outfit can easily hide most of the highlights. I need to set it up to also darken outfits a little.

Get a succubus to charm an ally kobold. Easiest way is to spawn a kobold belonging to the player faction and a succubus belonging to the monster faction in the debug room.

The original blinking delay was a bit severe, I toned it down a bit in hotfix 1. I have plans for more game over cinematics at some point, but there won't be any non consensual ones.

I don't have much to report (other than the Inc/Suc cutscenes not unlocking) besides the new solo actions Chloe can perform are kinda busted for a player like me with a super large cum bar, being able to get health back for calories and having the 2nd Tent statue power that gets rid of hunger as a factor makes me practically invincible on every run lol, idk if that's something you'd wanna balance or maybe potentially adding a way to increase your difficulty to hardcore without removing your stats would be amazing.

One thing I noticed: you might wanna sync Chloe's blinking. Its weird as hell. Otherwise I really enjoyed this update. Are you planning some game over scenes for monsters? It would be nice to see protag becoming like a slave to incubus/succubus for example.

Thanks for the bug report. The cutscenes not unlocking was a silly mistake on my part. I'll try to have a hotfix up sometime tomorrow.

fmod and the very similar competitor "wwise" essentially replaces the games audio system. It's designed more for audio engineers that don't want to dive into coding so the workflow is more like in an audio editor such as Audacity or Reaper. The game only needs to create an emitter, a listener and then initiate a sound event. I don't know if there's any change in performance. But being able to import new audio files and make changes to the sound in cinematics while theyre playing would be a massive time saver.

Very cool, I like the slime and boobjob cinematics. A few bugs: the succ/inc cutscenes arent unlocking. for me(The boobjob and slime ones did). The cunthulu tentacle is missing animations again. Removing the health from the vending machine does make it harder, feels like the game is way trickier now.

Idk if that's it or not because it happens with any key I press on the keyboard, escape, backspace, enter, all of them. So say I try to press escape to bring up settings, and then press escape again to exit that menu, it will not register the second press. But what I can do, it press escape to bring up the menu, press an arrow key to navigate, and then press enter to select, and all of those register.

I think the double input failing is the game switching over to mouse input mode. It also happens when changing resolutions in the settings menu. Do you have a light gaming mouse that might move slightly when you use the keyboard? My mouse is a brick and the only way I can recreate it is if I forcefully move it while trying to play using the keyboard. Either way I'll see if I can add a deadzone to the input mode swap.

In regards to fmod, if the git proves to be lucrative, how do you expect this impact production? Is it merely a better workflow process or does it also lift some burden in terms of performance (audio clipping, latency, file size, etc.)? It sounds exciting either way but I'm just curious

The boobjob variant will play instead of the plain cinematic if you have discovered the secret area before taking a bath. If you wait around the anvil area after the plain cinematic, the blacksmith will step out of the wall on his way back revealing the hidden path.

Hell yeah! Been looking forward to this! Full report coming later, however right out the gate I'm encountering an issue: -I'm getting an issue in the menus and during movement that if I try to press any arrow multiple times to go down the list, change AA Mode, move around the map, etc., it only wants to register the first input. At first I thought I was getting lag until I realized I can press down and up or left then right and go back and forth between options.
