v0.3 Early Access 4 preview

Happy new year everybody, heres a preview of what I'm working on for the january build.

The pigman trader that won the last poll will be added to the neutral floors to replace the recycling bin tile.

There is a new succubus/femboy incubus enemy, sort of a 2 for 1 special.
Theyre essentially the same monster type. And the plan is to make them charm based spellcasters to mess with the player and her recruited allies.

There should be three new cinematics with the pigman and the two buses.

Other than that I'll be adding gamepad support, there will be some changes to the saint statues, some more traps and a bunch of fixes and tweaks.

The build should be up around the 20th and the poll for the february build will be up sometime around the 14th.

Sorry, right before uploading I discovered some bugs that broke the game. I'll have it up in a few hours.

Maybe, saves lose compatibility with new versions real easy so I haven't prioritized it. And yes, starting a hardcore run will overwrite the save as soon as the player ends the first turn. I need to add a warning when selecting the hardcore option. If you want to make a backup of the save you can copy the files at: (Windows) %appdata%\Godot\app_userdata\HardStuck\Saves (Linux) ~/.local/share/godot/app_userdata/HardStuck/Saves "hardstuck.sav" stores data for the currently saved run such as player stats. "hardstuck_metaprogress.sav" stores cinematic unlocks, outfit customization, etc.

General Question, is there any plan for multiple save files. Cus my current normal difficulty save game file has a cum bar that's goes off the screen and I'd like to start over on hardcore but as far as I can tell that will just erase my normal game save which i worked very hard for and wouldn't want to lose😭

I understand. Rigging and animation are some of the most complex things to get right when more and more customisations and animations are implemented. What you have is allready quiet impressive.

Sorry, the current size is the maximum. It was a struggle to get the rig to behave with just the stuff in the game at the moment.

Is it possible to implement even bigger inflation or a weightgain mechanic?

It could be fun to have a different color succubus and Incubus depending on the floor, for example, green\crypt red/lava stage, etc.

Idea: Make Incubus and Succubus skin colors different if itΒ΄s not too much work.

I'll be taking a small break from adding new characters after the january update but I would like to add a lamia at some point.

I like the Incubus / Succubus approach of not going Futa. I hope they are quite kinky ;)

If you drop items on it, it will tell you if they're cursed (they'll give off an evil glow).

I was expecting the Incubus to be a buff male model, but i'm not disappointed in the slightest, there's already a bunch of buff enemies, nice to see some diversity.

Hell yeah, I dig the inclusivity of adding two genders with the Succubus and Inccubus. The lack of sexual dimorphism is awesome. You could look into doing this with the other races or future ones where it makes sense, I think it'd be cool. I can't tell if the pig man is small or not but he's cool and we love our pot-bellied short kingsπŸ€™
