[OP Marine Officer Luffy] Chapter 291- 295

Chapter 291: Box Girl Mansherry

The people of Dressrosa are known for their passionate hearts—they love fiercely and fight tirelessly for what they want. Violet, with her unwavering determination, had no intention of giving up on her feelings.

They’re just lovers, not married yet, she thought. Even if they were married, divorce is always an option. Her fighting spirit burned brighter than ever.

Little did she know, Luffy’s circle of lovers was far larger than she could imagine.

The engagement ceremony in the Tontatta Kingdom was grand in name only. In reality, it was simply a gathering where everyone came together to share a meal. However, because of Mansherry’s special status, the old king had invited people from all over the country to join the celebration.

Luffy sat cross-legged at a low table that had been specially prepared for him. Despite being utterly confused about the proceedings, he kept his focus on his primary goal. As the old king drank happily, Luffy decided it was the right moment to broach the subject again.

“Your Majesty,” Luffy said, “I’d like to ask your permission for Mansherry to join my crew. She would be a valuable addition to our mission.”

The old king, his cheeks flushed from the wine, put down his cup and scratched his head awkwardly. “Ah… isn’t it a bit hasty? You’ve only just gotten engaged. If you want to go on a honeymoon, wouldn’t it be better to wait until after the wedding?”

Three black lines appeared on Luffy’s forehead. “Your Majesty, I think you misunderstood. I meant for her to join my ship as part of my crew, not for us to go on a honeymoon!”

“Go to bed?!” the king slurred, clearly too drunk to follow the conversation. “Well… although I’ve promised Mansherry’s hand in marriage, perhaps you two should think it over a bit more.”

Luffy groaned, resisting the urge to slam his head against the table. He took a deep breath and decided to ignore the old king entirely.

Turning his attention to Mansherry, who had been sitting upright in a tiny chair before him, Luffy said, “Mansherry, what do you—”

Before he could finish, Mansherry, who had overheard the king’s comment, covered her face shyly with her tiny hands. Her voice quivered as she stammered, “Dear… dear, I… I don’t mind going to bed with you!”

Luffy’s jaw dropped.

Mansherry took a deep breath and clenched her fists. “It’s okay! I’m ready to have a baby!”

“Boom!” Luffy felt as if his brain had short-circuited. He stared at the tiny princess in disbelief, thinking, Do you even hear yourself?! You’re so small you wouldn’t even fit in a cup, and you’re talking about having a baby?!

Sighing, Luffy poked her soft cheek with his finger and said firmly, “It’s not about going to bed—it’s about going on a boat. I’m asking if you’re willing to leave with me and become part of my crew. Our journey will take us far, and it won’t be easy.”

Mansherry, undeterred, beamed at him. “Of course! I’ll go wherever you go, dear! I’ll take care of you!”

Luffy couldn’t help but mutter under his breath, “I don’t know who’s taking care of whom here…”

His musings were interrupted when Leo climbed onto the table. The dwarf waved his arms to get Luffy’s attention.

“Benefactor,” Leo said, his tone serious, “what’s the situation in Dressrosa now?”

Luffy paused for a moment to gather his thoughts before answering.

“They’re on the brink of collapse. The houses are destroyed, and most of the food and supplies are buried under the rubble. The Marines are doing their best to help, but Dressrosa’s needs are far beyond what I can provide alone. This is a nation’s crisis.”

The dwarfs around the table began whispering among themselves, their faces grim. Their relationship with the Riku family had always been close, dating back 800 years. The Riku family had even allowed the dwarfs to take small items from the humans as compensation, fostering a bond of mutual support and trust.

But now, with Dressrosa in ruins and the Riku family displaced, the dwarfs felt lost.

Luffy, sensing their distress, closed his eyes and extended his Observation Haki. Within moments, he located King Riku and his family in the Marine camp.

Placing the last bite of food into his mouth, Luffy carefully stood up and placed Mansherry into the pocket of his suit. “If you want to meet King Riku, his family is in our Marine camp. I can take you to them.”

Chapter 292: The Perpetrator

"Nani—! King Riku and his family are still alive?!"

Leo’s jaw dropped, and the fluffy tail behind him puffed up in shock. Excitement sparkled in his eyes as he clenched his fists tightly.

"My benefactor," Leo said, his voice trembling with emotion, "please take me to them. Princesses Scarlett and Violet are my friends. I haven’t seen them in so long."

As soon as he finished speaking, several other dwarfs jumped to their feet, eager to accompany Luffy.

Seeing their enthusiasm, Luffy hesitated for a moment. He didn’t have the heart to tell them about Scarlett’s tragic death. Instead, he smiled and nodded.

"Alright, let’s go," he said gently.

Carrying Mansherry, Luffy intended to return to the Marine camp the same way he had come. However, Leo quickly stopped him.

"My benefactor, please come with us," Leo said, his tone urgent. "Although the passage isn’t fully repaired, it’s usable."

Gathering dozens of his tribesmen who wanted to visit the camp, Leo led Luffy to the Tontatta Kingdom’s airport.

The airport was abuzz with activity, and Luffy watched in fascination as the dwarfs prepared their unique insect planes—oversized beetles used for transport.

"That’s quite convenient," Luffy remarked, rubbing his chin thoughtfully.

While Luffy observed, Leo climbed onto a rhinoceros beetle and called out, "Come out, Silver Fox Express!"

Moments later, a large, fluffy fox with shimmering blue and white fur trotted out from a nearby enclosure. The fox stopped obediently at Luffy’s feet, its large tail swaying gently.

"My benefactor, this is our cargo transporter. Please try it out!" Leo said proudly.

"A fox, huh? That’s a first," Luffy said with a chuckle. He climbed onto the Silver Fox Express, settling into its soft, plush fur. Leaning back, he was pleasantly surprised by how comfortable it was.

"Not bad," Luffy said, stroking the fox’s head. The fox let out a soft purr and licked his hand in return, showing its affection.

Once Luffy was seated, Leo waved his hand, signaling the group to move out. The insect fighters and the Silver Fox Express entered the underground passage, heading toward Dressrosa.

Meanwhile, at the Marine camp, King Riku had joined a team working to clear the ruins. Kyros had intended to accompany him, but the team leader, Cook, rejected him due to his injured leg.

Left behind, Kyros focused on caring for Rebecca and helping nearby refugees where he could.

Violet, with no immediate responsibilities, wandered through the camp aimlessly. Despite having only been established hours ago, the camp was already home to nearly 10,000 refugees.

Most of the camp’s inhabitants were elderly, women, and children—the young and able-bodied men had largely perished during the fight against the Donquixote Family.

Rather than burdening the camp’s limited resources, some of the surviving men had chosen to remain outside, building temporary shelters and assisting with clearing the city.

Violet couldn’t help but feel a mix of pride and sorrow. The unity among the people was heartwarming, but it was built on the sacrifices of so many lives.

If only I were stronger, she thought bitterly. If I had the strength of Mr. Luffy, I could’ve helped defeat Doflamingo four years ago. None of this would’ve happened.

Her somber reflection was interrupted by a commotion near the supply distribution point. Curious, Violet adjusted her cloak and approached the scene.

At the center of the commotion stood a burly man with a scarred face, arguing loudly with a female Marine soldier.

"We don’t have enough supplies," the Marine said, her tone calm but firm. "Right now, we’re prioritizing the elderly, children, and pregnant women. If you’re capable, you can join the search teams clearing the ruins. Any supplies found there will be yours to keep."

The man’s face twisted with anger. "What nonsense are you spouting, Marine?! I only had a bowl of porridge for lunch! How am I supposed to work on an empty stomach? Stop making excuses and bring out the supplies from your ship. I don’t believe for a second that a Marine vessel has this little food!"

He turned to the gathered crowd, shouting, "What do you all think?! Shouldn’t they share their supplies with us?!"

A few voices murmured their agreement.

"Yeah!"

"That’s right!"

"Give us the supplies!"

But the majority of the refugees remained silent, their expressions cold. Some even looked visibly angry at the man’s behavior.

Chapter 293: The Remaining Pirates, the Kuja Guards

The aftermath of the chaos in Dressrosa was dire. After the fierce battle, the city’s young and able-bodied men were either dead or too exhausted to continue. This left the citizens overwhelmed, unable even to extinguish the fires that had broken out, which ultimately burned down nearly half the city.

But Goro, the burly man causing a scene at the camp, was oblivious to these struggles. His focus was entirely elsewhere.

Smirking, his gaze lingered on the curvaceous female Marine warrior in front of him. "Also," he sneered, "I think I’m injured… down there. Why don’t you take me for a check-up? And hey, bring a few more female nurses while you’re at it."

His crude remark sent waves of disgust through the crowd.

Violet, who had just arrived at the scene, clenched her fists tightly. Her eyes blazed with anger as she listened to his vile words. The Marines came here to help out of kindness, and yet these scumbags dare to act this way?

Her instinct was to rush forward and teach Goro a lesson, but something about him made her hesitate.

Wait… that face… Violet narrowed her eyes, trying to place where she’d seen him before. Then it clicked.

“That’s Goro,” she muttered under her breath.

Goro was a pirate of some notoriety who had previously caused trouble in Dressrosa. He had been turned into a toy by Sugar and was only released after the events that dismantled the Donquixote Family.

Violet’s anger deepened. She knew that Goro and pirates like him were partially responsible for the state of Dressrosa. When they regained their human forms, some pirates had joined the angry citizens to storm the royal palace, but others—like Goro—chose to loot, burn, and destroy indiscriminately.

While she had hoped those pirates had fled the country after their crimes, it seemed Goro had stayed behind, hiding among the refugees.

Meanwhile, Goro’s lecherous gaze roamed over the female Marine, his grin widening. “Come on, woman,” he jeered. “Didn’t you hear me? Serve me, and maybe I’ll share some of the treasure I’ve got with you.”

The female warrior’s expression darkened, her voice laced with icy resolve. "You want to have some fun, huh?"

Goro, oblivious to the menace in her tone, laughed louder. "That’s right! Not just you—I want all the female Marines here! You’ll all—"

His sentence was abruptly cut off.

In the blink of an eye, the female Marine who had been standing calmly behind the table was now directly in front of Goro. With one swift motion, she grabbed his face in a vice-like grip.

"You want to have fun?" she hissed, her eyes flashing coldly. "I’ll give you plenty of fun."

Before Goro could react, the warrior slammed his head into the ground with enough force to leave a small crater. His limbs twitched briefly before going completely still.

The crowd around them froze in stunned silence.

Poppy, the elite Kuja Island warrior who had delivered the devastating blow, stood up and dusted off her hands with a look of disgust. Her piercing gaze swept over the gathered refugees, her arms crossing as she addressed the crowd.

“Listen up!” she shouted, her voice carrying authority. “We, the Kuja Warriors, serve as the escort team for Lady Hancock and Lord Luffy. We’re only half Marines, and we don’t take kindly to troublemakers. If anyone dares to stir up trouble again, we won’t hesitate to act.”

Her words sent a chill through the crowd, but Poppy wasn’t finished. She waved her hand and barked an order:

"Get them all! Round up every single rat hiding in the crowd!"

As if on cue, other female warriors who had been stationed discreetly around the camp sprang into action. Moving with precision and speed, they began dragging out those who had cheered Goro on earlier.

The onlookers, startled by the sudden crackdown, quickly scattered, not wanting to get caught in the sweep. Meanwhile, the expressions of the captured troublemakers shifted from arrogance to panic.

Chapter 294: Cruel Kuja Warrior

One of the captured pirates shouted indignantly, "What are you doing? I just came here to watch the fun! Why are you arresting me?!"

His outburst seemed to spark a chain reaction among the other captives.

"You’ve got it all wrong! I didn’t do anything—I’m innocent!"

"Yeah, where’s your proof? What gives you the right to arrest us?!"

"Look at this! The Marines are arresting people without evidence! We’re just ordinary folks from Dressrosa!"

Their protests began to stir uncertainty among the crowd of refugees. Murmurs of doubt spread as people glanced uneasily at the captured men.

But before the pirates could sway the crowd further, a small voice rang out, clear and firm.

"You’re lying! You’re not from Dressrosa! You’re pirates!"

All eyes turned to a boy, no older than six, who had squeezed his way to the front of the crowd. He pointed a tiny finger at the pirates, his face flushed with determination.

The pirates stiffened, their bravado momentarily faltering. One of them recovered quickly and glared at the boy. "Watch your mouth, kid, or I’ll—"

Before the pirate could finish his threat, the female Marine guarding him stomped on the back of his head, slamming his face into the dirt.

The impact knocked out several of his teeth, and muffled cries escaped his mouth as he struggled to spit out the sand.

The Marine, showing no sympathy, kept her foot firmly on his head. She smiled warmly at the little boy and waved him over. "Come here, little brother. Tell me everything you know," she said gently.

Encouraged by her kind tone, the boy hesitated for only a moment before stepping forward, his courage growing.

"I saw everything!" he declared. "When my dad went out to fight the bad guys, my mom and I stayed at home. These pirates came and robbed Grandpa Mickey’s restaurant across the street! Then they tried to rob us too, but my mom scared them off with her gun. She said they were pirates and bad people, and I believe her!"

The boy’s face was red with emotion as he finished his story, but his determined stance earned an approving nod from the Marine.

"Your mother is absolutely right," she said. "These guys are bad people."

Hearing her validation, the boy’s eyes sparkled with pride.

The Marine, however, turned her attention back to the terrified pirates. Stroking the large snake coiled around her arm, she smirked coldly. "Well, what should I do with you now?" she asked, her voice icy.

"Should I chop off your heads and toss them into the sea? Or maybe I’ll just let our little cutie here have a taste," she added, gesturing to her snake, which hissed menacingly.

The pirates blanched, their bravado crumbling as they begged for mercy.

"No! Don’t kill us! We admit it—we’re pirates! Please, just lock us up in Impel Down! Aren’t you supposed to follow Marine rules?!"

One of the pirates, thinking himself clever, tried to appeal to their supposed discipline.

But the Marine holding him laughed, hoisting him up by his collar like a rag doll. "I told you already—we’re only half Marines. Marine rules don’t apply to us."

Another Marine, still pinning a pirate under her foot, added with a smirk, "Not only that—we’re from Amazon Lily. Our emperor is none other than Boa Hancock, the Pirate Empress. So begging us for mercy is pointless. You’d best prepare for the worst."

Their words sent shivers down the spines of the captured pirates, while the onlookers murmured uneasily.

"What’s with these Marines? They sound more like pirates than the pirates themselves!" someone whispered in the crowd.

The growing tension was about to boil over when a calm, male voice cut through the chaos.

"Hey, hey. Let’s not scare everyone too much, alright? Remember, you’re about to become citizens of a government-member nation."

The familiar voice drew surprised gasps from the female warriors and Violet, who had been watching silently. All eyes turned to see Luffy, rubbing the back of his head as he approached with an exasperated smile.

"Luffy-sama!" the female Marines exclaimed in unison, snapping to attention.

They dropped their captives unceremoniously and surrounded Luffy, their expressions bright and eager.

Poppy, the leader of the group, looked up at him with sparkling eyes. "We’re sorry, Luffy-sama," she said playfully, sticking out her tongue. "We’ll be more careful next time~"

Luffy chuckled, shaking his head. "Poppy, you’ve really changed. You didn’t used to be this mischievous."

Poppy giggled, tilting her head innocently.

Chapter 295: The Kuja Warrior Resembling Hancock, The Two Princesses Meet

The Kuja Warriors, once fierce and straightforward, had gradually adopted a more mischievous demeanor since joining Luffy’s crew. This change, taught by Kujaku, Olivia, and the others, allowed them to add charm to their arsenal of skills.

Even the likes of Sanji and other flirty types found themselves nearly defenseless against their playful tricks.

But Luffy wasn’t so easily swayed. As the female warriors giggled and tried to charm their way out of his teasing, Luffy shook his head and issued orders to the group.

"It’s too easy to just kill them outright," Luffy said, gesturing to the captured pirates. "Take them into the camp and find out if any residents were harmed by them. If so, hand them over to the victims for judgment.”

"Also, notify the team captains—make sure to screen the refugees properly. Any trash like this? Deal with them immediately. No mercy."

The warriors exchanged wicked smiles, clearly relishing the task.

"Yes, leave it to us!" Poppy said with an exaggerated salute.

The female warriors quickly set to work, dragging the pirates away. Despite their pleas and cries for mercy, none were spared the warriors’ "special attention."

Those who had shouted the loudest earlier received a few well-placed slaps, leaving their faces swollen and bruised.

When the commotion settled and the crowd dispersed, Luffy turned to a nearby tent and waved. "You can come out now. I spotted you a while ago."

From behind the tent emerged Violet, her expression tinged with embarrassment. She adjusted her cloak as she walked over, recalling her earlier encounter with Luffy and feeling a little self-conscious.

When she reached him, she nodded politely. "Mr. Luffy, I’m sorry… I didn’t mean to spy on you earlier."

Luffy waved her apology off casually. "Don’t worry about it. Just call me Luffy. Everyone likes a bit of excitement, princesses included."

Violet stiffened, her cheeks flushing at his comment. Before she could come up with a response to ease the awkwardness, something unexpected happened.

Luffy’s shirt pocket bulged slightly, and a small, furry head popped out.

Mansherry peeked out curiously, her wide eyes darting around as she took in the unfamiliar surroundings. Her excitement was palpable, but it was short-lived. She suddenly locked eyes with a pair of light brown ones staring back at her.

Her entire body froze. It’s over! I’ve been spotted by one of the human other than Luffy!

But instead of scolding her, the owner of those light brown eyes called out in surprise.

"Princess Mansherry!"

Startled, Mansherry ducked back into Luffy’s pocket, only to peek out cautiously moments later. "Who are you? How do you know me?"

"It’s me, Violet! Don’t you remember?"

Violet smiled warmly and pulled back her hood, revealing her face fully.

Mansherry blinked, recognition dawning on her. A happy smile spread across her face as she exclaimed, "Violet! You’re still alive!"

Her tiny nose twitched, and tears welled up in her eyes, spilling down her cheeks.

Violet hurried over, pulling out a handkerchief to gently dab at Mansherry’s tears. The reunion of the two princesses was heartfelt and sincere.

As Violet approached, Luffy caught a faint, sweet scent of violets. The fragrance washed over him, and he felt an unexpected wave of relaxation.

Not far away, Kalifa and Olivia had just returned from a supply run. The sight of Luffy standing close to a strange woman, wearing an expression of what could only be described as enjoyment, froze them in their tracks.

Kalifa adjusted her glasses, a cold gleam in her eyes. "Hey, cow. Look at that."

Olivia narrowed her eyes, her voice dropping several degrees. "I see it, idiot glasses."

The two exchanged a glance, their mutual anger evident. No words were needed. In perfect unison, they marched toward Luffy, their steps filled with purpose.

Meanwhile, Violet finished comforting Mansherry and turned to face Luffy. Excitement sparkled in her eyes, though there was a hint of doubt as well.

"Luffy-san," Violet began, "why is Princess Mansherry with you? Are you…?"
