2025-12-13 22:54:23 +0000 UTCAnswering questions: Fuhrer King Bradley and Wrath are one in the same, King Bradley is just his public persona, but he's also the homunculus named wrath. He has to maintain the appearance of being a good leader and proper king who cares for the people under him in order to maintain his position without suspicion, hence why he treated Winry well, it also helps him with finding information by more or less charming them as the king of Amestris. He acts like a proper ruler when he needs to (because he is), and uses the power from the philosopher's stone (as Wrath) to carry out the jobs given to him by Father and to be the best fighter possible so nobody can defeat him, he can keep tabs on everything, collect information, etc. although a few people have figured out his secret, between Wrath's power and the collective powers of all the humonculi together (not to mention Father who made them) trying to reveal them would be difficult if not fatal especially without proof. Claiming the Fuhrer King is a humonculus is like me claiming the president is a lizard man, even if it's true nobody will believe you but if it's true, the people who know might just kill you to keep you quiet. Later episodes get into more detail about how Wrath/King Bradley was made, all I'll say is he's a little different from the other humonculi but similar enough, he's still powered by a philosophers' stone. The whole event with scar and his family, his older brother was the one studying alchemy/alchehestry and had the tattoos on his arms, when Scar was injured in the explosion his brother used his alchemy to essentially attach his arm to his brother's body so he would survive with his notes. When scar woke up and saw his brother's arm on his body, between the injury, being delirious, seeing his family killed etc. he went pure psycho mode and killed the doctors out of sort of instinctual reaction (not justifying his actions but the only Amestrians he'd seen recently were trying to kill him, combined with the delirium of a head injury and seeing his brother's arm on his body it's understandable he would have an unstable reaction) About the scene with lan fan taking off her arm, the episode cut from her cutting off her arm straight to the scene with Al fighting Scar, the explosion you saw wasn't from Lan Fan cutting her arm off but the fight with Al and Scar, that was definitely a confusing transition. The little girl with scar is the girl who healed the cut on his leg a few episodes ago, she's from Xing where they practice alchehestry, their version of alchemy.
