While I would probably watch all episodes in one sitting to keep up with everything and since its short, I think you should just do what you feel more like doing. In the end its really not that big of a difference :)

I honestly prefer the movie because the TV episodes version give some spoilers in the intro and episode previews. I highly suggest watching ep 1 of the Mugen Train arc and then continue with the movie, but it's all up to you ^^
